Big Elite Streamers Giving Up On Streaming Elite?

Maybe because they seem more directly comparable to Elite. I'd llike to know more about X4 personally, but if i just want to fly a space ship / captain a single ship with NPC crew and not do any galaxy building / spreadsheeting, its unclear if X4 or any other game lets me do that. Star Citizen is looking very good in comparison to Odyssey IMO.
edit: To clarify, it'd be interesting to see streamers / Youtub types specifically produce content showing playing X or Y game "like Elite" and not properly per se.

I can fully understand Youtubers and streamers are changing coverage to other games, they need to keep their business going, but i've seen very few complaining for clicks, almost everything has been giving fair criticism of events going on.

Oh and @Obsidian Ant is covering EVE Online now, i always knew too much ED exploring gives you space-madness / he was secretly a ganker  ;)
The Eve video is listed as a sponsored ad, rather a normal let’s look at a game.

Regarding the "Fish Bowels" that were sent to Influenzas, I don't know if this has been mentioned before, and I'm not reading all 77 pages of this thread to find out, but apparently a number of them, despite lavish packaging, turned up broken.

I'm not suggesting this is Frontier's fault - I'm sure this sort of thing is contracted out to alleged "experts" - but it does seem to be about the only break Frontier has caught during the Odyssey launch.

I've now watched D2EA's latest video and I have to say I'm disappointed that someone who's supposedly one of the game's biggest content creators is so badly informed about the game.

His two assumptions about new content will see soon are simply wrong. The fact that Remlok shows up as manufacturer in the weapon buy screen doesn't mean we'll get new weapons soon. It's just Odyssey's lack of attention to detail in its UI. The weapon manufacturers also show up in the suit shop screen.

And the fact that the ship mission board has an icon for Thargoid missions isn't an indication that there will soon be on-foot Thargoid missions. Maybe there will be in the future, but this is not a clue and it's not something Frontier forgot to "hide". We've had Thargoid (ship-)missions for years now.

Nah, they launch most things broken 😉

In fairness, both constitute reasonable evidence for him to arrive at his conclusions, but yes they are both speculative - just better grounded that those who presumed we'd get ship interiors, for some reason, the moment Braben vaguely suggested new content at some stage in the future.

I won't bother replying with a GIF. Instead I'll use text and say there is a difference between critising the state of EDO on launch (which we all know was not ready) and the toxic environment they are continuing to nurture with their commentaries.
You reap what you sow my friend.

I remember first time seeing Space Stations in Elite - they were so gourges, so massive almost like Babylon 5. So many places to explorer on them. But our Ship interiors in Elite are miniture, like a Demo you try to sell before developing the full scale ones for the final product.

Looking at that video, and then looking at Elite ones, feels like we got sold a Demo... .

I feel like i begin to understand more why Tubers and Streamers are in uproar about Odyssey DLC ... .

The video doesn't show up.
