Dude... the known differences between Edmontosaurus and Shantungosaurus is minimal at best... to say one is boring and the other isn't is... weird to say the least.

Why not have both?
Whether you like it or not, Edmontosaurus is guaranteed to return in the sequel due to it being a canonical dinosaur in the franchise and high popularity amongst the JWE community, to name a few reasons.
As for Shantungosaurus, it has a pretty decent chance to be included in either the base game or DLC as it does share the same fossil formation as Sinoceratops.
Ok, but why do you hate Edmontosaurus? What it do to you? You've directed a lot of vitriol to such an innocuous animal, all in favor of one that's essentially identical.
just wait a few weeks after launch and ther will be a skin replacer mod or new skin mod for your Shantungosaurus for sure

And, yep. Just species from the first game. What worries me too, because a new game should have more new species... But it's too early to comment more on the roster.

Proceratosaurus isn't a ceratopsian, it's a theropod.
That is quite a few... although you need to remember, ceratopsians are a fairly large and diverse group (although they're not taking full advantage of it)... to say there are too many of them is kind of like saying there are too many theropods.
Pretty sure he tacked Proceratosaurus onto the end there, hence the "+" there... as in "11 ceratopsians + Proceratosaurus".

Yep, but we really need to have Torosaurus and Pentaceratops? They are different, but also similar... This is a little repetitive... They could have used the Medusaceratops, for exemple, in place of one of them... Or others ceratopsians more unique

While I thought the leak list was interesting as a possible guideline, there was some odd choices there.
And for a double post! I am quite sure they may hide majority of the brand new species for release day for players to discover themselves. Quite possible, annoying since it's all people want to know. Myself included. I still believe they started their info teases far too early before release.
I do agree Torosaurus would have been better off left behind (and Dracorex)... Pentaceratops however features a fairly unique body for a ceratopsid... that alone gives it some distinction over the various alternatives.We can totally have the Pentaceratops ditched right? right?

Too early? There's 75+ animals to reveal... even at 2-3 species profiles per week, we'd still have animals to reveal after the game was released... if anything, the problem is they're going too slow with the reveals.
And just now I noticed... you listed Chasmosaurus twice... so it's 10, not 11...

True, Pentaceraops is more visually different I am just biased finding it ugly xD
I really like the torosaurus though, always have a herd in my parks. That said I was kidding around, and to be fully honest I think every single dinosaur from the first game should return in jwe2, either in base roster or a later free update. so they can focus future attention and effort (in expoansions/dlc/updates) on many more new dinosaur and reptile species instead of squeezing returning ones into paid dlc's.
