There's already a bug report on the issue tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/41163Scanning bar in on top, should be on the bottom, upside down.

Reading around various confirmations to my impressions, i think that CAS has to come back as a third upscaling option.
AMD is probably focused on promoting FSR, but it looks like it doesn't work well on all configurations we currently have
@sallymorganmoore : I think I found something that changed with update 6?
When I now scan a planet the probe range is WAY bigger then before?
Normally the scan range is about half the planet or 2/3.
Now the range is the whole front side.
The percentages seem to be the same but the graphic representation is WAY off.
Or did you shrink the planets?
I bet most of the people now praising FSR on 4K did not try this in update 5:It would seem to me that FSR is a benefit for the more top-end cards running on 2k/4k - however for a lot of us running on Odyssey "recommended specs", while it may give a poke to performance (sometimes), it certainly loses a lot of fidelity in the sharpness of UI/text. CAS should be left in as another option for people to play with, so they can pick what they prefer.
Or the game should actually run on recommended system requirements which is-It would seem to me that FSR is a benefit for the more top-end cards running on 2k/4k - however for a lot of us running on Odyssey "recommended specs", while it may give a poke to performance (sometimes), it certainly loses a lot of fidelity in the sharpness of UI/text. I'm afraid Interstellar Bounties are still bugged @sallymorganmoore
I am marked as WANTED in Imperial systems, as per my Transactions screen:

But I paid off this bounty (and all of the other ones, which actually disappeared) in an Interstellar Factor. Here it is, showing no bounties:

And after logging out to the main menu and back into the game:

The bounty is also gone from the Transactions tab and I am no longer wanted in the Empire.
It looks not only mission giver has been moved...

Always been like that for meMorning Sally.. I tagged you in two earlier posts of some issues I found last night after you had gone. I have one more to report but can't get you screens as have to head out to work sadly.
The bullet effects that hit the SRV screen are rotating when you rotate.. they are also MAHOOOSIVE, I suspect a problem with the scale of the cracking graphic. It looks horrendous that they spin on the spot though as they are not connected to the glass in any way. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news and if you need screenies I shall try and collect them later but right now work calls.

Reading this forums gives an overwhelmingly negative impression. However, go into almost any other game forums and you see very similar, it’s quite funny really. I was just looking at two other games forums and the same catchphrases pop up, “shambles”, “glorified beta testers”, “did they even test this”. My own experience has been relatively smooth with this update, so guess I’m lucky, but I also suspect there are plenty of other people getting on mostly just fine, who appreciate the hard work going on behind the scenes, but can’t be bothered to post about it. In my squadron which is very large, there has mostly been positive feedback, aside from the usual niggles with people’s differing GPU setups. The sheer amount of bugs and performance issues completely over shadows anything that is good about Elite at this point. Damage control done by the CMs even thou noticeable such as communication on forums and engagement with the forum users is a very welcome change still lack the additional steps such as giving anything as consolation (twitch drops that became non existent even thou we've been told they will come back) no support for the content creators that now left Elite for other games. If it goes on the game will be left only with the "hardcore" fans and all that we will see on the weekly streams will be stellar screenshots for which you don't need high fps or proper overall lightning with occasional streams of the CMs playing the game badly for an hour or so. Most of the rating of the Odyssey add-on are very low or just average and that's even before the hellstorm that will happen when the game will launch on consoles(if at all at this point, at least not on old gen consoles). So yeah, I don't see why there are people here on forums praising any work done by Fdev with Elite.
Sorry for the long post, had to rant.
It doesn't mean that it's just a catchphrase as you say, it just means that is the general course of action most of the gaming industry is taking and of course individual experiences may vary, but the majority of them are negativeReading this forums gives an overwhelmingly negative impression. I am exceedingly positive about the positive aspects of this game. There are many. The criticisms of the game come from a place (largely) of desperately trying to make the game better and exasperated when it isn't. I personally like to highlight things that are stopping me from enjoying this amazing game so I see a lot of the criticism as constructive. It is important to understand why people feel it has not been tested adequately if they are used to encountering a plethora of bugs.Reading this forums gives an overwhelmingly negative impression.
