New Guardian system discovered in Graea Hypue YE-Y d1-212

We at IGAU, the Intergalactic Astronomical Union squadron, are proud to announce that our survey around the IC 4673 nebula has borne fruit, and we have found undiscovered Guardian ruins in the Graea Hypue YE-Y d1-212 system. The location is the 3 a moon, which features two ruins, and brain trees as well. We've had over a dozen squadron members participate in the survey, and this discovery was made by CMDR Taen (and verified by CMDR Urania Minora). Here are some screenshots:

To recap for everyone: this is the fourth Guardian system discovered to date around the IC 4673 planetary nebula. There is a 100 ly permit lock around the nebula's center star, Hen 2-333, and there is also a brain tree area that goes out to 750 ly from it. However, systems which are still within this distance but in the neighbouring Norma Arm region are excluded from this, and have no brain trees.

Very cool!
You should add a screenshot from EDSM showing approximately where this system is in the Milky Way, so folks can quickly decide if they're likely to take a day-trip or a month-trip ;-) to visit this new discovery & area!

Looks like it's roughly halfway between Sol and Sag A* right?

Congratulations! This is great! This is the fourth site in the sector. But pay attention - what is the distance between them. They are usually compact. Maybe your team should look some more?

Congrats guys, the time I spent there I didn't find any guardian ruins but I did map the edges of the Brain Tree region;

First, we've found another system with Guardian ruins nearby: it's Graea Hypue AA-Z e24, bodies 12 b and 12 c, discovered by CMDRs Urania Minora and Taen.

Well, of course we are looking for more ;) Also, your screenshot is missing the third system found: Graea Hypue QL-V b19-15. And yes, they are usually more compact, because the other remote brain tree areas have a radius of 100 ly, while the area here has a radius of 750 ly - same as the main BT / Guardian area around Gamma Velorum.

Congratulations! Are you able to determine if the ruin is a new configuration or not? Its difficult to tell from the screenshots. Congratulations though. Not much has been found in that area.

Terrific however, I cannot find a way to join your organization as I am at the moment... cataloging Guardian sites.

I cannot find a way to join your organization
paging @Urania Minora, erm , something funny with the forums (is now "Deleted member 240115" ) ?!?

Anyway, as per Inara page:
1. Achieve exploration rank of "Surveyor" or higher.
2. join our discord at: https://discord.gg/2Qq37xt.
3. Read and understand our goals and rules posted above.

and then from in game squadron menu search for IGAU & apply.

Greetings Cmdr! We see you have joined our Discord - please read our #rules-and-regulations channel - and the confirm by clicking the ⬆️ emote....That assigns you a role - and we can then move ahead with your appliction....

Hi. I won't argue, but it seems to me that FSS can only show if the Guardians have already been scanned earlier. Or is this body right in front of you <1000LS.
Nope, scanning an undiscovered (untagged) body with the FSS will show you the Guardian signals under Locations (not Features!) if there are any. That was how we discovered these new ones. The alternatives would be flying within 1000 ls and looking at the Navigation panel on the left, or the "pointing the nose at bodies" technique. But we've been doing full system scans to gather data for research, so that even if we didn't find any new ruins, we would still get data that's useful for everyone.

Right - as Marx mentions - the Locations will pop up at ANY distance....Look at the screenshot: 1753 Ls
Oooh! On your screen, body 3a has not yet been scanned (there are no entries under the scale). Thank you! This means that FDev makes searching easier than last year.(y) In 2020, I searched for the Guardians in Eorl Auwsy...
