State of the Game

My ships are all named after episodes of Cowboy Bebop...go figure.

Carrier: Ganymede Elegy - The one where Jet returns to his home planet and meets up with his old lover.
Corvette: Real Folk Blues - The final two episodes of the series.
Mamba: Brain Scratch - The episode where a child creates a cult that traps Faye.

Honorable mentions if I decide I want more ships:
Pierre Le Fou, the one were Spike chases down a government enhanced super soldier. (Possible Chieftain)
Heavy Metal Queen, the one where a Trucker helps Spike and Faye track an arms dealer. (Possible Cutter)
Black Dog's Serenade, the one where we learn about how Jet got that arm of his. (Stylized as Blaqq. Possible Fer-de-Lance)

A couple of years ago I worked on a job where the director of the kitchen company ran off with the £75k deposit for the kitchen.
10k and 75k are huge amounts of cash but surely not enough to destroy your reputation for. No where near enough to start up somewhere else.
It makes you wonder what goes through these peoples minds.
they simply cannot imagine what kind of money that is - for them it is just "a lot of money" and eventually more than they ever had to their name - this can lead people to do stupid things, because in this moment they do not estimate what this money will get them, they just see that it is a "whole lot of money" from their perspective and this would be the chance to get it - they will realize the consequences of this later eventually, when it is too late - well, they still could try to give it back immediately and be eventually forgiven.

Just checked steam charts, the player count is almost as low as it's ever been and not getting better. I really, really want this game to recover, but FDev needs to ing deliver something more substantial than monthly updates that just break more than they fix. Clearing up the litter in high tech stations should not be a headliner item, they need to seriously overhaul the gameplay and fix the bugs.

You can't trust any numbers from anywhere ... numbers are not real. The silent majority will ensure the game lasts for another 10 years as it's well known that the game is overwhelmingly fun and perfect the way it is.

The old accounting maxim was never steal less than a years pay, but I'm sure that's been "balanced" now...
