hostile agents attempting to intercept you while en-route, contacts you can meet at settlements, and NPCs attempting to use shuttles to flee to Hyperspace!

Why have you not given the (quite frankly redundant at this point) Federal Dropship and / or Gunship 4 seats? The Fed X ships have been left behind by the Alliance equivalents so why not give them a reason to be used again?

Some cool stuff, but update 8 doesn't look so hopeful for overall performance, and without improved performance, Odyssey activities are just too painful for those with performance issues.

I hope the fleet carrier interiors will be something like a big bridge or command deck I can feel proud of owning and not the same mini-mall you see in most stations or some variation thereof. I'll be honest--I got sick of station interiors after about day two or three. More details on this would be nice. A two-seater combat SRV sounds fun.
