Game Discussions Star Citizen Discussion Thread v12

As always - SC's continued existence, in whatever shape and form, alpha status or early access (or both), relies entirely on the continued funding of its fan base.

So keep those pockets open if you want to continue having fun in the game. Them server bills won't pay for themselves.

No it's not. It's some concoction put into sausage intestine. Steamed and then eaten. Not sure about the ingredients: e.g. what goes in. Brainz? (nogo) Lungs, hearts, stomach? (can always try).
Ridiculous nonsense. Why you lie??

Edinburgh Pest Control Services said: "We have been asked by the SHPS ( Scottish Haggis Protection Society) to warn people about the dangers of Haggis Laying Season.

"The last two weeks of July and the month of August are when Haggi are particularly dangerous, while protecting their newly hatched Hagglets.

Be careful out there.

Someone was noting earlier in the thread how the SC subreddit or Spectrum were ignoring/downvoting heavily these news. Usually it gets to the press to post it before they finally acknowledge so, that is good news?

Was me, i harped on about it a bit.

They need time to find how to spin it in the most positive way. Takes time to achieve consensus. Not something us FUDsters need to worry about.

Hah, that article does include a couple of nice quotes relating to how SC is viewed as a somewhat released product by CIG.

CIG say its "akin" to early access. Well, other early access games get reviewed.

Come on reviewers! Get reviewing it like a released product. Don't let CIG have their cake and eat it!

Hah, someone in the comments posted this

I would also go for option two because it would better factor in overall player actions across shards. However, both options involve blowing / disappearing stuff randomly. If you are in a shard where the pirates won but overall they lost, they need to disappear somehow from all shards. And if you won in your shard and yet the pirates won overall, there is a disconnect between what happened in your shard and the state of the 'verse. You won, yet the blockade is still there?

Interesting.
It's still a game. You fill the gaps in between with imagination. Like comic strips, movies, tales. Iz's an artistic trick.
