Agreed, but looking at this from a new player perspective this sucks. It's up to each player to choose how to play the game - and choices have consequences.
I do have an FC and you can check my main account on Inara if you don't believe me.

All new players can get a free Anaconda at Hutton orbital, don't worry about the M landing pad there is another around the back of the station, takes a bit of finding though.fair or unfair to new players? then we should say how unfair it is that new players come and can not immediately buy anaconda. what a cruel injustice. although everyone can get it on hutton
It's not the first nor last CG.Agreed, but looking at this from a new player perspective this sucks.
Not sure what relevance this has to the discussion?I do have an FC and you can check my main account on Inara if you don't believe me.
I don't disagree that FCs have made doing CGs in a small ship a LOT more painful, although even just participating will net a new account more credits than most other small ship activities (high buy prices on the commodities and the credit reward) .Agreed, but looking at this from a new player perspective this sucks.

But here's the thing, should everything in game be balanced towards being "new account friendly" ?
Only if you want the game to have longevity.I don't disagree that FCs have made doing CGs in a small ship a LOT more painful, although even just participating will net a new account more credits than most other small ship activities (high buy prices on the commodities and the credit reward) .

and what's wrong with the experience of new players? the most pleasant and interesting memories are the experiences of being a new player! every million credits improved your abilities and made you happy! this is the best and happiest time in the game. i do not see any problems with the experience of new players, some invented problem. but the experience of old players - yes. why should i spend billions of unnecessary credits? why the entire galaxy has as many ship models as in the soviet union of cars?Robert Maynard.
Players who join a game that has been running for over six years can't reasonably expect to compete at the same level as those who have been playing for years after a few days of play.

The relevance ; I have played the game and know of what I speak. If the new player experience is not catered for the game will die a slow death.

On my one delivery with a full hold of thermal cooling units I bagged 22mI barely held on to the 50% tier.
As Leo said, the payout for this one is crap, the real reward is the modules and the trade profits while doing the actual hauling. I made about 10 million in profit per run in a T-10 stuffed with thermal cooling units.
Prophecies of the game's imminent doom have been being made since the game design was published. The relevance ; I have played the game and know of what I speak. If the new player experience is not catered for the game will die a slow death.
I was able to haul 4,848 units from a star port and it held its stock. I could tell other people were hitting the place too, but supply was only slowly dwindling because it was only other crazy people like me who would suffer 4 jumps and a 2k Ls supercruise jaunt. On my one delivery with a full hold of thermal cooling units I bagged 22mThen I went to restock and I'd burned all the supply, I think they had 6 or 7 lol, so it was 4m per run for computer components after that. No time to mess around looking for more supply of the profitable stuff with limited game time and a CG moving that fast.
On a day when I'd have more time to play I'd have considered that but it was a proper rush job for me yesterday, just found the closest location with a high supply of cheap stuff (2 jumps and 13 ls from the spawn) and went for it. I was so glad I engineered my T-9 years ago, 25 LY jump range when fully loaded really helps for CGs.I was able to haul 4,848 units from a star port and it held its stock.
