I have just spent the last week playing Horizons, and have thoroughly enjoyed it.
After splurging on a bunch of Japanese 'dating simulators' I have spanked them all, and felt like beating something with a bit more meat to it.

It would be funny if NVIDEA dropped the ball, not that it hasn't happened before.
But y'know... Gaming.

A bit of both - I've wandered around a few settlements, and picked up a mission off a chap at a settlement / ground base. (Is that new? )
I haven't been to any on foot CZs yet, as I am cack at them, but I will give one a go at some point, and see how we get on.

On the whole for NVIDIA people, it looks promising - I am running an RTX3070, so all should be good anyway - but this gives more free headroom for running at these resolutions.

I'm currently using 2176 x 1224 res, which is upscaled to 2560x1440.
I had a quick go with the 1970 x 1108 - and this also looked quite impressive.

At some point I'll do a proper test of all the upscaling options this provides, and post screenshots for comparison with native.

I'm running native 2k (no upscaling), Ultra Graphics preset w/Quality set on my 2060 and I get above 60 (like above 80) almost all of time in space w/some rare drops. If I'm going to be doing any ground combat, I have to switch to High Graphics Preset and turn off bloom to get consistent fps above 40 or 50.

the anita blake comics weren't bad either. shame they were published under marvel though. definitely limited the adaptation options.

reminds me.. need to check on some of my book series to make sure i'm up to date on them. I've only been paying attention to my kindle series' lately.

I suffered a bit of ear torture once from a dianetics person, and then they left because I thought they were talking about dietetics.

This is not a true story.

But they need to be nuked from orbit, I agree.
