Plot twist: It's Salvation's weapon of mass destruction and it is destroying the entire galaxy. This is perma death for all of us and the end of the game. After a few days of mourning the death of Elite: Dangerous, Arf will announce Elite Dangerous 2 during the Christmas Stream next week with features like the Panther Clipper, Atmospheric Worlds, Ship Interiors and improved PowerPlay. Sadly, still no console version though
