State of the Game

In other news, I'm pondering getting a second monitor to compliment my ultrawide, so I can have Inara/Discord/whatnot open at the same time as Elite. Helpful (I think) for the long supercruises, can have the match on while hopping out to Colonia, etc.

I assume this means no playing the game in fullscreen mode, and instead have to do it windowed in the main monitor?
I just use my tablet or laptop...
In your graphics setting you can set the display mode to "borderless window", which is how mine is set and I learnt it here on the forums. This means you can mouse to the other screen (unless on foot then you need to ALT-TAB, or Windows Key or some othe way...

Just be aware that if you click on another window, you lose control of the game...can't count the number of times I've clicked on SotG while in hyperspace and then barely remembering to click back on the game before hitting the destination star...

Well darn it. Deep in my man shed I've done it.

The next model I make is going to be a cube.

Its actually quite well co-ordinated so far. The middle is one white stripe with the sides being gray, with some spot colour here and there.
Honestly, those spots of yellow and dark grey just spoil it for me.

(Just messin' around. It looks absolutely fantastic - really, really, REALLY well done. Might inspire me to actually unbox the Razorcrest I got last year for Christmas and build it!)

It certainly has been quite fascinating following your journey with the Asp @Rubbernuke , seeing it so close to done is pretty awesome, any idea how many hours you have put into the project?

And will you be doing a nice rendition of a Vulture next?
Its been over a year on and off- the entertainment is mainly from finding solutions to problems rather than making models themselves really.

And no. No more ED ships after this. I'll make something based on an original idea, or simply wibble in the corner.

eye twitches

:D I do like to try spot colours to break things up- but in the end all of the outer skin will be uniform in colour- either white, gray with greeble details and the odd tan / colour where needed.
