Sounds like you need some sort of oval protein thing, especially in this time, for it seems to be trying for you.
This is the game forum... It wouldn't matter is a patch fixed every bug and feature in the game, it still wouldn't please some... Particularly Ender
untrue. such a patch would obviously please most. The reality is nothing like that with elite though. The best patches / updates fdev does are these little hotfix minor updates because the scope is small and the number of changes are limited. So they generally do exactly what they say.
it's not like the players not being pleased with patches aren't rooted often in very real problems with regressions and lack of testing. Rather than just subjective opinions on what the patch should have done.

do you think it would be kosher to sell the odyssey dlc to console land at full initial price or at the price the dlc is 1 year after it was released ...you know once (if) it's released for them?
