Hey folks,

Thought you might be interested on the continued decline of the game just like we were all told would happen earlier this year.

Fdev have predictably set them selves to failure by communicating regularly, issuing 9 updates to Oddesy, adding additional content and generally being their best selves. What they are clearly terrible at is intentionally destroying their game. Miserable job running the game into the ground Fdev, you have failed at failing.

Steam charts, which we all know are gospel truth, also show the game population falling negatively, which is to say failing at reducing by going rather up.

This is a sure sign of the end of Elite because of reasons.

See you all next year, from the Captian's lounge in my carrier.

Same here (and merry Christmas btw ;))

It'd probably make sense though with these types of threads in January when players are no longer showered with freebies (arx and treasure hunt) and no major patches are released. Not that I'd care but some seem to.

Never bothered using my optional steam key either. I mean the game works fine without adding a second launcher to it. Either way! Doom! It's everywhere! Hm, I might need more coffee. And maybe some more cookies.

I have been playing Elite everyday to ensure it continues to be doomed.

I mean, you see the trend over several months right? Didn't read the numbers?

Its ok, just like all the people who thought that the 1st summer after a pandemic and the drop after a major release were certain of their numeric superiority, I'm happy to agree there is a good chance the holidays and free arx are helping.

Maybe not as much as carrier interiors but sure.

Either way, I've played today so once again Fdev have failed miserably at the miserable failure. Happy new year and hope you have a good use for any new found coal.
