I think I just want some common species, hence why I liked the addition of the blue-tongued Skink and Red-eyed tree frog in the Australian and SA packs.

My choices:

1. Emerald Tree Boa
2. Royal Python
3. Bearded Dragon
4. Australian Green Tree Frog
5. Mata Mata

Your probably right, I just don't see the point of HUGE habitats for something that IRL has maybe a 8ft x 12 ft enclosure. Although, I also do like making Nile Monitor Habitats and other reptiles... SO I guess I shouldn't complain. I just need space fillers in my zoo tbh. lol
I agree that space requirements for such animals should be limited to 100 square meters or less.

Oh... apparently I missed this one?? Tricky cos I feel like there are some "most essential" animals still missing before I go vouching for my favourites specifically

1) Tuatara
2) Panther Chameleon
3) King Cobra
4) Chinese Giant Salamander (or Japanese or Hellbender - just need one of them lol)
5) Alligator Snapping Turtle

Hello everyone!

Since @DarthQuell is going to take a break from the forums, he has asked me to take charge of his Exhibit Animals Meta-Wishlist thread and made me a Contributor, so that the List keeps getting updated regularly. The first Update has been made up until this point. I will keep updating the List regularly, with new Submissions.

Important Notice: After discussing with @DarthQuell, we have made some changes to the Rules and Format of the Meta-Wishlist. Please find the changes below:
  1. Now Lists can contain as many as 10 Exhibit Animals. Since some people were already happy with 5, the range has been identified as 5-10, meaning you can submit Lists from anywhere between 5 to 10 Exhibit Animals. People who have already submitted their 5 can additionally submit 5 new Exhibit Animals in a new Post within this Thread, similar to @random goat's Habitat Animals Meta-Wishlist. But please make sure to not edit them into your previous Submissions.
  2. Only certain Exhibit Mammals will be accepted. Only Mammals that for certain can not function properly in Habitats, due to Behaviour or Animations will be accepted. Having a Small Size alone is not sufficient enough a reason by itself. Please consider how the Mammal in question would function in the game before adding them to your Lists. A prime example would be the Naked Mole-Rat, a Mammal that wouldn't be able to function properly in Habitats. A Hedgehog on the other hand, could.
  3. Only Taxonomically Related Animals with Common Names that aren't yet represented in the game will be grouped together in the same row. For instance, Tarantulas already have representation in the game, so New Species will have their individual entries. The preferred method of grouping is by Common Name, so even if a group is represented in the game, e.g. Vipers, but doesn't use the common name, e.g. "Viper", they will still be merged in the same row. More Specific Common Names are preferred over Generic when available, e.g. Softshell Turtle instead of Turtle. Unrelated Species will not be merged together, despite having identical Common Names, e.g. South American and Asian Horned Frogs. If a Merged Group gets representation in a future pack, then it will be split into Individual Species or a Narrower Group without representation.

Only five? That's so difficult!

1) Panther chameleon (Furcifer pardalis)
2) King cobra (Ophiophagus hannah)
3) Frilled lizard (Chlamydosaurus kingii)
4) Axolotl (Ambystoma mexicanum)
5) Hermann’s tortoise (Testudo hermanni)

I choose one from each continent. Unfortunately I had no space for the blue poison dart frog :(
My additional 5 votes:

6) Blue poison dart frog (Dendrobates tinctorius "azureus")
7) Reticulated python (Malayopython reticulatus)
8) Tuatara (Sphenodon punctatus)
9) Philippine sailfin lizard (Hydrosaurus pustulatus)
10) Leopard gecko (Eublepharis macularius)

Trying to narrow down almost all of the reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates I want into just five species is very difficult. I have voted tactically (I don't, for instance, think we will get either snakes or spiders with DLC) and with that in mind these are my five choices:

1. Common chameleon (Chamaeleo chamaeleon)
2. Turquoise dwarf gecko (Lygodactylus williamsi)
3. Central Asian tortoise (Testudo horsfieldii)
4. Kaiser's spotted newt (Neurergus kaiseri)
5. Olimpia's ground beetle (Carabus olympiae)
My other five species (I have now decided to include snakes, no matter how unlikely I think their inclusion would be):

6. King cobra (Ophiophagus hannah)
7. La Palma glass frog (Hyalinobatrachium valerioi)
8. Seychelles giant millipede (Sechelleptus seychellarum)
9. Gaboon viper (Bitis gabonica)
10. Etruscan shrew (Suncus etruscus) - In a cross-section burrow exhibit, similar to those used for naked mole-rats, as in this picture: https://www.zoochat.com/community/media/etruscan-shrew-enclosure.461287/full?d=1569232083
