General Imperial Fleet Carrier

Fleet Carriers are manufactured by a single company, the Brewer Corporation, not by the Federation or the Empire, you buy a FC from the Brewer Corporation you get to choose between 4 models, I don't see the issue here. You get to paint them how you like, you could paint them in MUFC colours but it doesn't make them MUFC product or shaped like football! You want to dictate to a private company how they should build their ships?

well you buy one model then get to choose between 3 "upgrades" and are never able to revert to base because fd is not only crap at their job but lazy too

And you can have it in any colour, as long as it's black.

The things is it's not a Federation manufactured ship, it's not an Imperial manufactured ship, so why would it have Imperial and Federation style versions?

Let's give this Op legs.
Lore wise yeah u can't have imp fed ally Carriers as their manufactured by Brewer Corp, a private company.
BUT.
What if they outsourced to the superpowers. Thus enabling a new skin for each superpower.?
I like this idea Op
But getting it past the purists ummm gl with that

I realized what I was wrong about. I didn't explain it correctly.
I want a look that looks like an imperial.
For example, for me the Artemis suit has an imperial look.

I just want the look. I understand that the imperial shipbuilders in the game are so weak that they can't even make an average warship. But maybe they can help create at least the appearance ...

Yeah I get that. Course that's a step in the right direction. But having full on imperial or fed etc based models would just be amazing. If they wanna tuck it behind a rep/mats grind to make it elitesque be sure to do so

And in the meantime, my Nautilus is painted in Imperator colors.
Its rounded lines are more reminiscent of Imperial design than the other 3 designs

I purposely gave all the views side by side. I do not agree with you. For the closest imperial species remains the initial species.

You are correct, they are manufactured by a single corporation.
But what stops that corporation to add a variety of designs to it? Technically, they are only selling ONE model.
There is zero reason why they can't either partner up with Guatemaya or onboard some of their designs and features and make a carrier base that looks more like an oversized cutter for example.
Galnet: Brewer corporation forms a business alliance with Guatemaya. New carriers on the horizon.
Tadaa, foundation laid, bring on the designs.

In all seriousness … having skins for FCs that made them look like the Federal or Imperial mega ships that rock up in High CZs? C’mon … that’d be petty darned awesome …

The empire threatening them with destruction for making pretend empire warships that could potentially start a interstellar conflict if they start turning up in mass in Federations space? In general governments don't like private people pretending they are part of the government, it's bad for business.

Give OP a break, it looks like OP just wants an Imp FC layout. I would not mind a more Imp looking FC layout myself. Should they get bored of fixing bugs and building grind walls. Right now all you can do is give it an imperial sounding name, and paint it white. I need something to spend all those Arx I earn every week on. A pirate, Alliance, or Fed, inspired ship layout would not hurt anything.

Honestly, I was sure they'd release Imperial and Federal FC layouts when FCs first dropped. It just made sense; they have the King/Admiral ranks unused, they could charge twice as much ARX for them and people would still buy them, it's just a no-brainer.

From a narrative point, you are right.
From a business point, you are wrong.
If they'd release that as an ARX thing, like the other layouts, they'd be raking it in. It's good for business. And Fdev needs all the business they can get at this stage, following the mediocre launch of Odyssey.

So send an open letter to the Empire or Federation and get them to make one....oh sorry I forgot, it's a video game owned by someone else and they make the decisions.

The game us the narrative, just start ignoring that and where will we end up, probably in a game I and others don't want to play, so that would be less ARX correct?
