But what if the Tomato Frog cries? 🍅🐸

A Small Announcement: After listening to what community members experienced in animating and game development had to say about active small mammals as exhibit animals, I have decided to keep the rules of the thread the same and not expand allowed exhibit mammals to include more active species. I was not convinced they would work as exhibit animals, therefore it is safer to keep the rules as is, unless Frontier proves us wrong.

Instead I created a new Meta-Wishlist thread for Small Mammals, without defining enclosure type. If you want to submit active small mammals that are not accepted here or on random goat's Habitat Animals Meta-Wishlist, then you can submit them there. I will also keep the discussion thread running and will not ask a moderator to close it in case people have counter arguments.

Cross-section type exhibit mammals like Naked Mole-Rat and Etruscan Shrew are still accepted on this thread.

  1. Ball python: Most common snake in EAZA zoos.
  2. Western bearded dragon: Second most common lizard in EAZA zoos, after green iguana.
  3. Red corn snake: Second most common snake in EAZA zoos after ball python.
  4. Eastern green mamba: Most common mamba in EAZA zoos, along with the black mamba.
  5. Leopard gecko: Most common gecko in EAZA zoos.
  6. Egyptian tortoise: Small and suitable for exhibits, as tortoises are quite pacey and need space. Also wouldn't require a new layout, the flat sandy desert design would be perfect.
  7. Yucatán snapping turtle: Recently accepted as a separate species, which makes it unique in my opinion.
  8. Spectacled cobra: Almost as many holdings in EAZA zoos as the king cobra. Also has building pieces in the game.
  9. Veiled chameleon: Most common chameleon in EAZA zoos by far, with over 200 holdings.
  10. Leopard slug: Very unique, large and beautiful species.

You know what might be cool for an Exhibit DLC pack?

7 Exhibit animals and 1 habitat "reptile/amphibian"

Like if Frontier did the reverse of the animal packs. (But personally 7 "boxes" wouldn't be too enticing, it would have to be 14 Exhibit animals and 2 habitat animals for the same price)

The Exhibit Animals I hope To See in the future:
  1. Green Anaconda (Although it can also adapt to an animal in a habitat)
  2. Emerald tree boa
  3. Burmese python
  4. Panther chameleon
  5. King cobra
  6. Gaboon viper
  7. Reticulated python
  8. Leopard tortoise
  9. Leopard gecko
This is my list and you guys are doing a wonderful job in this forum thank u very much

1. Panther chameleon
2. Giant leaf tailed gecko
3. Green basilisk
4. Emerald tree boa
5. King cobra
6. Thorny devil
7. Giant asian mantis
8. Hercules beetle
9. Blue poison frog
10. Chinese Giant Salamander
