We will all ultimately get the same old forum members writing the same 'old stuphz' (Bottom Hat) the stalwarts that frequent this Forum are potentially and partly the contributors to the downturn, as Solid community members they may have actually been able to get through and had a viable impact on the direction and development of the game, But it's honestly at this stage not a blame game. It's just bloody sad.

If contributors like Obsidian, Kate, Yamiks (regardless of, off colour language) and many more etc. can't get through to them. Then what chance does the average Joe have?

I hope and pray that they turn the clock back a few years, Stop the grinding mentality (Jamesons crash site, Dav's hope, need I say more) to keep people in game for longer so they can post / announce play time to investors. They could've actually built on a great foundation.

A mile wide and 1" deep, I've heard many times.. it should've progressed as a mile wide then 2" deep then 3" etc. with a story, my god it was already there.
By now it would be a mile wide and 90' deep.

Shame on you Mr Braben you sold out. but I'm sure you are doing well for yourself and I for one am glad.

I don't feel my time in Elite was wasted as it filled a gap. Pre-Carriers and Odyssey, as I had no time for that mentality.

There was actually a post many moons ago from a lad who said things like pip pip and what what a lot stating "Death to Yamiks and the Queen" what was that all about.... He later corrected himself to only include Yamiks in that observation, it passed moderator appraisal? but my honest appraisal didn't (makes you wonder).

Oh well, I definitely had around £300 worth of fun while it lasted (to include paint jobs and DLC), I would've spent £600 or £1000 and more if it was worthwhile.

I Still Would.

Not really hes just making fun of folks who are quoting British consumer law and clearly have no clue whatsoever they are talking about.
If anyone really thinks they have a leg to stand on taking Fdev to court for 'Not fit for purpose' they are sadly deluded, they wont get past the legal aid phase.

If we’re no longer receiving support then microtransactions need to be removed - gift those items to the console players who are deciding to stay and play a game FDev has abandoned. That or gift the Arx for players to “purchase” the items with. No more content, no more support outside of “critical updates”, no full account transfers, this is the absolute very least FDev could provide to the players swindled on console.

Apparently not (going on stuff talked about back when the 'offline mode' was no more/pining for the fjords.). 'We' might get a server based code bundle for enthusiasts to run from their own servers.

This is an incredibly disappointing news and an action by you, Frontier Development. I have been a PS4 console player of ED since 2020. Certainly not as long as many players on these forums or playing the game. ED helped me through the long COVID-19 isolation when I wanted an escape from all the daily troubles. For that, I am very grateful.

During this time I have managed to unlock around 80% of the engineers and achieve 5/5 reputation with them, which is completely agreeable with my game play style and the time I can manage to spend. This also include a fleet carrier which I managed purchase last year and had a really fun time flying it to Colonia and back into the bubble.

Today, I put up my FC into the decommission programme and cleared out it's inventory of all my ships, modules and other stored material. It was not a pleasant experience I can assure you and I feel greatly let down by you after having spent so much time building up my account.

I do own an ED copy for PC on Epic and as many console players have requested from you, I would be greatly obliged if you could make some sort of an arrangement to transfer my/our account/s from PS to PC. Starting out all over again from a Sidewinder, if I do decide to play it on PC, is probably a bridge too far for me.

Once again, thank you for the entertainment but I do hope you might consider this decision but failing which, allow the full transfer of accounts from console to PC.

Forums are made up of Barrack-room lawyers as it is an open forum and well - a person who likes to give authoritative-sounding opinions on subjects, is almost the definition.

It is All opinion.
