Elite studio should be sold

I hope here is freedom of speach and I can freely tell my opinion. I am very sorry, I dont want be rude or insult somone, but after so long time of lies, broken promises, bugs and schedules I am kinda out of patience. David Braben told us he dont will sell ED studio. But for me its like he is holding this dying corpse and dont want release it to someone who can heal it. We love this game and I belive Fdevs does too. But in every case of love if something goes wrong and one in realationship suffers from that love, we should let that person go. I dont understand why you cant just admint you took biger bite than you can handle. I think for example Microsoft could save this game. I know you will delete this posts very quicky, but nevermind. At least you will just know one voice from thousands devoted and disappointed customers.

Uhm. They pretty much admitted that they took a larger bite than they can chew with console development...
And, uhm, the company should be sold because Elite took a hard thrashing? I don't think so.
Also, Elite isn't dying. Actually, now that they only have one platform to develop for it might prosper again. As much as I get that console players feel let down, because they have, console development is baggage.

So you don't want to insult...

... then go on about lies and broken promises?

Ok 🤷‍♂️

So let go, if you feel that way?

They admitted that console EDO was a failure, what more could you wish for?

With the amount of TTEs that I've sold these last few days I may soon be in a position to buy Fdev.

Step one will be to cancel ED.

I'm thinking of approaching my lawyers about a potential merger. Your egg profits, and my stuphz emporium, could add up to a realistic bid.

If you see my lawyer, Kenny, over the weekend please let him know I'm looking for him. He's most likely nicking people's copies of "men only" down the station in town. Next to Asda.

Cancel the PC version and announce a port for the Switch. You know it makes sense.

Oh you tinker, you ;)

There's nothing special about Elite. It's just a spaceship game. Anyone can make one, doesn't have to be Frontier. Don't need the IP.
Interesting then, that so few do. And the other attempts at creating ambitious, open-world space have hardly been roaring successes.

Seems to be a lot of folks who claim that creating an Elite-like space game would be a doddle. They should team up, throw together a demo, then launch a Kickstarter campaign. Easy peasy.
