Not gonna lie, if someone want to sell me SDP for 220k/piece I'll buy it. I've been trying to find the larceny spot for a few hours. To huh, avoid it in the future, and haven't found it yet (always the 3 containers one).
I did have countless bugs it's insane, from small funny ones to actually "game breaking" ones (like item no spawning, or door being under the ground).

Oh, I see, thank you. You're right, the reward is not there at the moment to make material trading a worthwhile target. But the 're-logging at a specific location' is already used for both Odyssey and Horizons materials. It's a stupid mechanic, but I think since the introduction of Dav's Hope it is clear that it is a mechanic which FDev have acquiesced to, and perhaps even supported.

And given that this mechanic is here, and most likely here to stay, I don't see why it matters who is doing it. Personally, I think that giving players who don't want to do it the chance to pay players that do is fine. But so far, FDev do not agree with me.

They should consider lowering the cost of pioneer supplies, there's not much use if you can't sell self-modified weapons or suits. Or for the current price they should put at least a shooting room or a possibility to practice with a commander inside the carrier, seriously it is very expensive not to have many options

Literally just adding a voice to the request for non-service areas should you not wish to sell/deal in goods.

Whether costing game credits as a one off purchase (no upkeep cost) for a cosmetic bar/social space, garden type area or whatever gets dreamt up or be it an ARX purchase ( no doubt less popular but many would be willing and it would cover some of the dev cost….he says with zero knowledge of dev costs!)

I don't know if you're using Larceny as shorthand, but just in case.
It's (Odyssey) Irregular markers you need. In my experience, Larceny missions spawn IM's but never the right kind. The mission type is good for farming Push or Weapon Schematics but for the downed skimmer with its data point you need to find a naturally occurring one, and they are quite rare too.

Horizons Irregular markers are quite common, but they too are of no help.

It's a while since I tried it, so I can't guarantee system states haven't changed things since, but I had the most success finding the right kind of IM's in the Alici system, as suggested to me by CMDR Zarozinia in this thread: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/the-odyssey-materials-exchange-thread.585279/page-46

I found a grand total of one in a security dataport in a settlement too, so they're on the loot table, just very low.

If there's a point here that you believe is worth raising that I've missed, please do leave feedback below! I'm interested in hearing your thoughts in detail on the Bartender Service sell pricing cap.

• Please consider integrating the FC Commodity Market and Bartender Market so that the latter also utilises the journal and the API, resulting in third party applications and sites getting updated in the same manner (in lieue of an in-game search function for commodites and materials). Right now the new functionality requires either word of mouth or manually importing journals on Inara (clumsy and usually not up-to-date).
• Please consider adding the regular Bartender Trade and Sell functions to the FC Bartender as well.

Ideally, it would be really nice to have the FC Commodity Market enable you to buy Horizons and Odyssey materials as well from the convenience of your ship. The Bartender could have similar capabilities, granted that you have your active ship docked at the FC.

I held onto a load of G2/G3 pre-upgraded/modded gear I'd picked up that was pretty good but I was unlikely to ever use on the off chance I'd be able to flog it via the carrier but alas it was not meant to be.

A fleet of fighters, that you can populate with npc or friends, just like BSG and be able to jump into a battle zone with FC.

Yeah, so I found one, but I couldn't reset it. Logoffski, supercruise, even leaving ED entirely, play something else and back an hour later then supercruising didn't work.

Meanwhile, larceny can be reset by simple logoffski.

Still, I didn't enjoy the overall experience of looking for a needle in a haystack, while hoping RNGesus would deem me worthy of the lewt. So I'll wait for the eventual Engineering revamp^^

I didn't want to go that far, but yes why not, it would be cool..

I mainly think about stocks of engineered modules adding up in my inventory. Not wanting to sell them after engineering, but on the other hand not using them all that often. I was actually considering just selling instead of storing, as it isn't all that onerous to buy a new one and to engineer it like I want. Especially since I'm not making new ships everyday..

But the thought of selling at cost after all that time put into engineering is a bit galling, but if you could get some good credits for them, why not. I'd put most of it up for sale on my carrier..

Not if you automate part of that process by having supplies delivered by your NPC crew (you can manually set trade routes or you can put them on Automatic, but that takes longer and is more expensive) to your Building Schematic'd player-built base to produce pre-engineered ships and/or modules with your Ship Schematics and (pre-enginereed) SRVs with your Vehicle Schematics, which are then transported back by your NPC crew to your FC or station of choice to be put up for sale.

Please leave all FC optional space open by default but with no staff (like you did on IA service at engineer ground bases) or locked by the UI (but ship management should be free to owner).
FC owners has full access to property they purchased, they dont like useless locked rooms to remind them purchasing something.
