Planet Zoo: Wetlands Animal Pack arriving 12 April

Thoughts:

• The horn detail is great
• The eye detail is great
• The beard is the most significant takeaway here. It gives me a lot of hope that they've progressed enough from where they were at launch in order to redo the male orangutan model. I really hope that happens, especially if the next update is brachiation and the next pack is an Asia pack with a gibbon in it.

I don't know if they will ever redo anything...but I don't understand why, it wuld be pretty fast to do and would make the comunity super happy (and would make us play way more)..
Anyway beautiful beautiful Lechwe, hope it's gona move in a realistic way.

Honestly can't say anything about model quality, every photo I google from nile lechwe looks different.

THIS is why I push so heavily for more ungulates! How can you look at that and say we have enough in game?!? People are honestly kidding themselves if they don’t appreciate the beauty of these animals!

Wow, the details on the Lechwe are amazing. I love the "beard" on their neck. Still, a bit sad we didnt get to see the female.

the lechwe was an unexpected surprise, and a welcome one for me. Looks gorgeous.

I mean if each pack was just the top 8 or so every time it would get boring quick. A well placed curveball not only keeps you on your toes but can also be a surprise winner.

I'm loving this Wetlands pack

Honestly, this is for me personally the best animal in the pack.
10/10, unique looking north african aquatic antelope with a meaningfull zoo presence amd conservation history. Honestly one of the best new antelopes they could have chosen

I think the problem is that honestly there’s people like me that don’t have as big a problem with the base game animals like the lion as other people. Would I like a remake? Sure but it’s definitely not a priority for me I think they still look good and usable. The only animal I actually think NEEDS a remake is the Malayan Tapir and that’s a dlc animal

Btw I just want to get on here and say that I REALLY hope the cranes wings aren’t just white because the black “tail” feathers are actually it’s wing tips curled back, the body is pure white and all the black comes from the wings. The pic looks like the wings are small and all white so I hope it isn’t like that in game

Yeah the wings were kind of a big miss to be honest. I'm hoping they look better in game.

Sorry capybara, I think the lechwe is now my favorite animal in the whole pack, the model is STUNNING and the FUR! I hope they update older models to reflect what they can do with fur now! I would love to see the orangutans, warthog manes, and the tails of some of the ungulates updated to look nice and stringy like that.
