This evening's Corvette run was interesting.
I made it through the tunnel fine, a slight issue with a turn after the tunnel and my HOTAS deciding to play up made the remainder of the race very interesting.
Following the tunnel section I was heading off to pick up the Domestic Appliances with 0% hull.
I felt there was no way I was going to finish the race as the corvette always takes damage when I land it.
Cargo runners never think about how much hull they have left when there is a profit to be made, so I continued on.
To my utter surprise I was able to land and pickup the Domestic Appliances without leaving spare corvette parts in the dock.
I thought there was no way I was going to be able to do that again, so I headed off to Vasilyev Vision with the Domestic Appliances expecting to add another rebuy the list and provide the citizens of Vasilyev Vision a lovely display of another Buckyballer blowing up on the pad.
Shockingly I was able to land a second time with 0% hull without blowing up.
Just to add to the danger at Vasilyev Vision I saw a pad an assumed it was mine, it was roughly in the right place and ATC was still telling me pads I had rejected so hadn't noticed until they told me I was at the wrong pad, so had to find the correct pad.
For your amusement I have uploaded the run, the tunnel section and real fun starts around the 6 minute mark should you wish to skip ahead.
I can't help but wonder if a couple of friday night beers improves the chances of landing with 0% hull.
The journal log reported the hull heath was 0.000737 (1 = 100%), so that would be 0.07% hull or 0.62 HP based on the total armour of the ship being 854.
