Elite dangerous protest day

Star Citizen costs like $5 more than Odyssey, and you get way more than $5 extra in content. 🤷‍♂️
you what? are you drunk, it cost $5 more and you get a load of bugs.it like a adventure and 3d role into one. press f to spawn out of bed, press y to do this.find your ship it only in another Building you don't know about yet.or where the flipping train station is? once you find that ship, it takes forever to launch and to get into space you need a refence manual.

After that you landed on a planet, mine the out of it, only for another person to know where exactly you are a kill you. Great master game that.

Well if FD drop something juicy we can swiftly pivot to 'Elite Dangerous Protease Day' and salivate instead at minimal cost.
FD could come up with the most ground breaking expansion/story line/quest etc and some folks would still complain.

Any road anyone know how the protest day worked out? anyone glue themselves to Jameson Memorial?

Do you have a bot scouring the internet for mentions of Star Citizen? Anytime anyone mentions it anywhere, there you are!

Why mention SC at all? Totally different development model but whatever one thinks, FDev has published a space game for close to 8 years, while SC is still a tech demo..

I remember Brebus saying that FDev prefers to put a game into our hand warts and all, instead of trying to make things perfect and not releasing at all (my paraphrasing as I don't want to spend time digging up the statement).

If you really wanted to organise a protest, the way to actually hurt Frontier is to stop engaging with any social media to do with the game including here, Facebook, Twitter etc. for a week or more.

Obviously you then have the problem that this is only one game that no-one is talking about, so they may just decide time is up and focus on other titles as a result. So, you'd also need to also bring in all the players of their other games so they have to actually engage with the issue you want to highlight, not just shelve a problematic game.

Have fun organising that.
