No you wouldn't have an idea re the marital/spouse/partner status of senior Frontier employees, wanna know why?

David Braben didn't stick his missus front and centre of the marketing campaign for Elite D, neither, as far as I'm aware, did any other Frontier employees do so with their partner(s). She willingly and wilfully put herself out there and 'out there' you can be ridiculed and called out on exactly how you wandered into a position you were, at best, barely qualified for.

The real reasons Sandi Gardner Roberts was placed into the centre of marketing for a game to sleazy gaming nerds is anybody's guess......

But again, you are waaay above us in moral and ethical values Ian so what the hell would I know.

Woo so many pages, this must be one the most popular Frontier Forum thread's by the looks of it. The perks of open development and a constant stream of updates helps I guess.

No wonder the videos from the refugee camp keep on coming:

Kate & Crew keeping busy with bunker hunting (have been doing that myself, quite the blast when the elevators actually work)
DigThat with the year in Review (quite a lot of development when put in perspective like that):
Down2Earth helping starting players choose their starting area:
BlackMaze excited for the new patch features:
And Drew goes caving:

I'd say they unionized and upgraded from camp to factory level!

I never know when people are being sarcastic or sincere in this thread. Do you like SC or hate it?

That interview is crap for dozens of reasons. But it's not because she didn't detail how open she internally communicated her marital status ten years ago. Bringing that up is weird.

On that video... I can't stand that Australian guy, he likes to interrupting people with something actually interesting to say with his crappy anecdotes, he's the low IQ attention seeker.
He's the same in SC leaks.

The game is quite addictive I must say. The different armours and how they can be mix-matched keeps this loot-goblin coming for more.

Such as "I still like the basic concept behind this game, but I find some of the game development choices to be repellant, some areas to be deliberately designed to waste players time, the cart-before-the horse development of the game to be wasteful, the continued crowdfunding to be concerning, the shell company structure of CIG to be alarming, and obvious evidence of persistent plundering of this project via creative accounting to be utterly unethical. That being said, I still hold on to some hope this game can turn things around. But as the old saying goes, 'I am seldom surprised, but I'm frequently disappointed,' so I doubt that will be the case." :D

Let's just say Odyssey was supposed to bring me to serious space sim gaming but it was SC that kept me.
Although understandably it's alpha state is not for everyone. They have free-fly events that let you test without spending a penny though so that's what I'd recommend going for.
