Reptile Representation

We dont have enough reptiles in the game, i think we all know that.
But how should Frontier fix that, what would be some great additions and would we be willing to take some future dlc slots from the mammals for more scaly critters?
Lets discuss that here, and i want to start with a new exhibit feature: Animals that are both exhibit animals and habitat animals.

I would introduce this feature with either an Oceania Dlc or a desert Dlc, featuring either the bearded dragon or the frilled lizard, which would be able to both be kept in an exhibit or in a habitat.
With the update, the Curviers Dwarf Caiman also would become and Exhibit Animal and the two Iguanas free habitat animals.

This would serve multiple functions:
1. We would get 2 free new Animals from one of the two most criminally underrepresented basegame continents, that also double down as a new taxonomic order.
2. Both animals would get the same rig and animations with an existing model, speeding up the process and giving us two for the price of one, which makes it a resonable request imo.
3. It would help to introduce smaller reptiles and expand the number of exhibit animals per dlc without limiting the number of habitat animals.

But what would you say? What reptiles would you like to see in the game, and are there any other hybrid habitat and exhibit animals you would want?

As far as habitat animals go, I could see us getting the Nile Crocodile, African Spurred Tortoise, Perentie, and if we're lucky, a sea turtle. When it comes to exhibit animals, however, there's a lot more room for improvement. I could easily list 15 exhibit reptiles I want to see.

I don't want any transference of exhibit to habitat or vice versa. At most I'd accept a hybrid model - put the iguanas and dwarf caiman in both animal markets, so we have the choice. I don't really fancy trying to make a habitat small enough to be realistic for an iguana - they're much better as exhibit animals in that regard.

This would work best in my opinion.

A thought I just had is what if we get a new type of exhibit system that's ×2 or ×4 as large as a standard. It can be customizable inside, and the animals inside have their own unique loop animations/traversable area

That... doesn't really make sense to me... even less when you consider it isn't just a reptile problem. If it's such an issue, just don't use those animals or turn off space requirements in sandbox.
The issue isn’t limited to reptiles but it is more extreme for them than for any bird or mammal, other than the platypus (for which the issue is even worse than any of the reptiles). I do use sandbox with space requirements off for exactly that reason but I’d prefer not to have to just to make an at-all realistic enclosure.

I think a partial solution would be to have more customisable exhibits: have them in different sizes (both larger and smaller) and have options to remove the box. We already have this for shops now, and if I'm not wrong they have a similar system for flying animals in Prehistoric Kingdom (not a Frontier game but still).

This feature could potentially be introduced in the free update accompanying something of a Reptiles & Amphibians DLC, which could contain 4 habitat animals (choose from nile crocodile, African spurred tortoise, perentie/water monitor, green sea turtle, giant softshell turtle/alligator snapping turtle and Chinese/Japanese giant salamander) as well as some exhibits and a small set of scenery for reptile houses.

It's impossible to make a realistic dwarf caiman habitat even with space requirements turned off. There's no way to put in enough water within a habitat barrier while making it small enough to line up with a real zoo. It would be the exact same issue if the iguanas were habitat animals - all you'd get is a bunch of stupidly large habitats for an animal that needs less space than the exhibit gives them.

In which case you have a bunch of animated props in a box that's way too big for most things pit in them. And unlike the box, the habitat animal requirements can be altered...
