Not really, the traded commodities didn't count.Yeah... maybe FDev should make mining CGs with ores that can only be mined. This CG turned into a Trade CG instead of a Mining CG...
They didn't count for the CG progress, but people still made a fair amount of money from them. Not really, the traded commodities didn't count.
Trading will still affect the market and demand. That is why Mining CGs should only contain minerals/ores/commodities that are pure mining related. Not really, the traded commodities didn't count.

CG demand is solid at 999,999.Trading will still affect the market and demand. That is why Mining CGs should only contain minerals/ores/commodities that are pure mining related.
To me it shows less hostility than might've been assumed, certainly, I would dispute the 'everyone who wanted it already got it'* permit claim however. The fact that CG ended so quickly proves how much Azimuth is still supported by the playerbase. Seriously - whoever wanted Mbooni permit, got it before; whoever wanted to get rich quickly did it 2 months ago with Tritium CG.
So yeah, let's hope that Frontier will give a proper reward to Azimuth and an influential place in the future of the Bubble.
I cashed in my reward. No system permit. I haven't participated in a CG like this in a long while and never for a system permit. I received the credits right away. Anyone know how long it takes Azimuth to realize it's over and hand over that permit?
How does it work with the permit? If I check my status on the ship's right panel I have some permits bot none to Mbooni. Will I get the permit after the date the CG is officialley finished?
Usually rewards like this are distributed on the Friday following the end of the CG's usual end date of Thursday. As this one finished early, there is a chance they could be done earlier, possibly today or tomorrow, but no guarantees!I've yet to be granted the permit, though.
The CG finished during the weekend - when Frontier staff are not in the office - so what does everybody expect? I'm sure the permits will be distributed soon.....To me it shows less hostility than might've been assumed, certainly, I would dispute the permit claim however.
From continued queries there are a Solid chunk of players both old and new even just in AXI/NEWP/Canonn's discords who never got the Mbooni permit... and I'm pretty confident there are more outside given the series of issue trackers on the subject. (Newest omitted as it was 'The CG is over - where is my permit')

Completely agree, i have all the permits from completing Fed/Imp rank and never bothered with others such as Mbooni as there was no incentive. To me it shows less hostility than might've been assumed, certainly, I would dispute the permit claim however.

I can understand it too. After all, Bright Sentinel was right there in Pleiades, the primary AX region of choice, especially during 22460 - why would you wander off to the bubble to unlock a second source if it was right where you needed it?
Then by the time Sentinel suffered a Critical Existence Failure, Qarato had been retreated, so the permit was completely unavailable... I guess we'll see if Azimuth's facilities they're building include a permit application office.
Sorry, wasn't complaining, was just explaining in case someone went to the issue tracker and went 'why did you leave that one out?'The CG finished during the weekend - when Frontier staff are not in the office - so what does everybody expect? I'm sure the permits will be distributed soon.....
Sorry, wasn't really aimed at you but more a comment on the people posting to the issue tracker!Sorry, wasn't complaining, was just explaining in case someone went to the issue tracker and went 'why did you leave that one out?'
already got the permit so it isn't my adventure to partake in ^^;
Edited to clarify what i was actually noting - Definitely people out there who Want the permit!
So - I know how it works and I know it would be work to fix, so I don't quite expect this, but: I think people expect the game to be set up so that CG rewards can be automated and distributed soon after end.The CG finished during the weekend - when Frontier staff are not in the office - so what does everybody expect? i like a mining CG too. if you get chance it also works well in a wing as you can each get full allocation from each asteroid ( silly and unrealistic but makes for good coop as you can share each others "good" rocks.)This was the first purely mining CG I have done and I really enjoyed it. It was so different from the trade and bounty CG's.

unfortunately unless i scrap the rules that i have played the game by since launch, i am likely a good 5 years off affording a FC.. and that is assuming i play at the rate i did pre child which seems unlikely. i am 3000 hrs into the game and have under 1.5bill to my name. it is possible when there is an outlier exploity thing which occurs again i may just hammer it as a 1 off just to get a FC and then bancrupt myself after getting it and securing it for as long as i can, but last time i "bent" some of my rules it completely pulled the rug out of any urge for me to play the game. For me, a mining CG is a "reward" for bothering to go mining routinely.
My FC has about 8000t of various ores stored on it.
There's a couple of thousand tonnes of spendy stuff but the rest is a broad selection of "mid-price" stuff which I'm not that bothered about selling.
When a CG like this comes up, I can just see what I've got in stock and flog it to the CG for a very good price... and help the CG too, of course.
