Awesome feedback, thanks. Thought I'd try it out.I actually think that the separate timeline thread is an excellent idea, and I seriously hope that ongoing, a similar locked thread accompanies any downtime (or major incident that the CMs need to get involved in managing comms for). The thread should be an easy read of the notice and progression of the work, and a list of known issues maintained until the issue is complete and fallout dealt with.
There should be a separate community discussion thread relating to the downtime locked thread where the feedback and drivel can take place. The important CM updates were getting lost buried in the previous open threads.
Ooh! Permission to post drivel! Mods, take note!Awesome feedback, thanks. Thought I'd try it out.
By the way, you all can absolutely make your own thread alongside mine if you like. Thinking of opening the door once the deployment is over so we can then have more targetted discussion relating to the update once it's live so let's see how that part goes too.
Thanks again though! Nice to sanity check these things.
qUALITY ConTent To YOu MISTerand drivel
Check failed. There is no danger of sanity around here.Awesome feedback, thanks. Thought I'd try it out.

Gets into Horizons Clipper:2GB worth of lens flares. I better see every single LED and button on my ship have one. Abrams, put on your shades, you're getting outlensflared by Fdev!
One thing to note that I'm not sure everyone realises. In a thread with official Frontier posts, if you click the following little "Dev Post" button next to the post ..I actually think that the separate timeline thread is an excellent idea, and I seriously hope that ongoing, a similar locked thread accompanies any downtime (or major incident that the CMs need to get involved in managing comms for). Yep, it's how I always read these long threads! One thing to note that I'm not sure everyone realises. In a thread with official Frontier posts, if you click the following little "Dev Post" button next to the post ..

.. it takes you to the next dev post in that thread (until you get to the last one when it then does nothing). This can be really useful for following all the dev posts within a thread that's been filled with our "drivel".![]()
