There would be two separate emails, therefore two separate accounts? Plus that would open the door for perpetual cheating...so I'm strongly guessing no to this.

I have a bunch of items / cargo - will cargo in my hold be copied over? Or do I need to find a friendly FC to store them during the copy?

As part of my Discovery Scanner post, I mentioned we would give you all a heads up on information around the launch of the portal itself ahead of time - my exact line being "We will follow up with the specifics, for example where to find the portal guide and how to access it ahead of time."

I just want to give you a heads up that the expected portal opening time is currently sat at "mid-morning BST" (so a window of around 10:00-11:00 our work time).
I'm afraid I've let you down a little in expectation in that this is all I have for you currently, until we jump in tomorrow morning to bring you the necessary links to the portal and help guide once available, however myself and Bruce will be on hand with you as we move.

We're excited to welcome our Console Commanders across to the Galaxy on PC side!

PLEASE don't forget the following (I can't stress this enough. It's keeping me awake):
  • Your original console profile will remain playable.
  • Only one profile may be copied per copy of Elite Dangerous.
  • This will be a one-time only process.
  • The portal will remain open for the foreseeable future and Commanders will be given plenty of advance warning prior to decisions on when the portal looks set to close.
Which elements of my console profile will NOT be copied to PC?
  • Your Commander name if it is already in use by another PC player. You will be given the chance to choose a new name as part of the process.
  • ARX Balance.
    • Please ensure that you purchase desired customisations before you complete the transfer.
    • Any unspent Arx will remain on your original console profile
  • Squadron membership.
  • Friends lists, Block lists and Private Groups.
  • Current mission progress.
  • Fleet Carriers and their contents.
    • Fleet Carriers will not be copied over. Please decommission these ahead of going through the process so that your resulting Credit balance will be included.
    • Any modules will be decommissioned at the discounted rate if previously aquired as discounted and then repurchased at the full rate on the PC account.
    • This also applies for any discounted purchase Fleet Carriers.
We'll see you tomorrow, Commanders.

I have to say it again, the gold stars I might need to start dishing out for the level of support many of you are offering back to fellow Commanders in these threads is really, really great.
Obviously I'm here for you for anything that I can personally do, always, but I really appreciate you working together to share the information you do have, to people who may have missed it or need extra support.

I like the afternoon.. but what time is that in game time?....

If they did, they were perhaps silly to, as delays can (and will) happen for a multitude of reasons.

However, this game does mean a lot to some people. An awful lot. I'm not quite in that space anymore, but remember being there.

J’ai peur de vous laisser tomber un peu dans l’attente en ce sens que c’est tout ce que j’ai pour vous actuellement, jusqu’à ce que nous sautions demain matin pour vous apporter les liens nécessaires vers le portail et le guide d’aide une fois disponibles, mais Bruce et moi-même serons à votre disposition au fur et à mesure que nous avancerons.

Nous sommes ravis d’accueillir nos commandants de console sur le Galaxy côté PC !

S’il vous plaît, n’oubliez pas ce qui suit (je ne saurais trop insister sur ce point. Ça me tient éveillé) :
  • Votre profil de console d’origine restera jouable.
  • Un seul profil peut être copié par copie d’Elite Dangerous.
  • Il s’agira d’un processus unique.
  • Le portail restera ouvert dans un avenir prévisible et les commandants recevront de nombreux avertissements à l’avance avant de décider quand le portail semble sur le point de fermer.
Quels éléments de mon profil de console ne seront PAS copiés sur PC ?
  • Votre nom commander s’il est déjà utilisé par un autre joueur PC. Vous aurez la possibilité de choisir un nouveau nom dans le cadre du processus.
  • Solde ARX.
    • Veuillez vous assurer d’acheter les personnalisations souhaitées avant de terminer le transfert.
    • Tout Arx non dépensé restera sur votre profil de console d’origine
  • Membre de l’escadron.
  • Listes d’amis, listes de blocage et groupes privés.
  • Progrès actuels de la mission.
  • Transporteurs de flotte et leur contenu.
    • Les transporteurs de flotte ne seront pas copiés. Veuillez les mettre hors service avant de passer par le processus afin que votre solde de crédit résultant soit inclus.
    • Tous les modules seront mis hors service au tarif réduit s’ils ont déjà été acquis comme réduits, puis rachetés au taux plein sur le compte PC.
    • Cela s’applique également à tout achat réduit de transporteurs de flotte.

j ai une question concernant le transfert comment cela ce passe pour les factions Xbox implémenté qui transfert leurs compte.

That “Space” has kept me awake for 28 hours straight. PS4 Arx store shopping spree, check. Laptop, check. Steam, check. Ge Force Now, check. PS4 controller PC bindings, check. Odyssey installation, check. I did not take a day off work for the Great Migration. I took a week: see you next monday Real World, I am getting my Elite on! 😁
