Saitek offer

Hey,

I was too late to profit from the Saitek deal in the store.

I was wondering if there will be another chance to profit from that awesome offer?

I only heard that there was an offer this morning - Do you know the details? Was it good?

Unless a member of FD staff comment we have no way of knowing really but I would guess it was a one-off. If you hunt around online you can actually find x52 (both pro and non-pro) at very similar prices. I actually managed to get one off Amazon for £109 and a few pennies and that included delivery a few weeks before the offer.

A friend of mine has waited a similar length of time. I think FD massively underestimated the demand and as they have few physical items in the store they might not have too many people and hey got totally swamped. My friend got an email yesterday saying they had run out of stock and were awaiting more from their partners so they were expecting to ship his unit in 5-7 days.

We had a batch come in today. There may be some back orders still, however. We expect all orders to be fulfilled by the end of next week (at the latest).

As far as missing out - we're still talking to Saitek about getting more X52 Pros, but there are still some X52s in the shop.

I too ordered mine on the first day of offer but have still not rx it yet.

Day not quite over so still live in hope.

Today is the last day "at the latest" but have not rx any further update regarding further delay.

That is a very good price for a Saitek X52 Pro in the store (albeit out of stock), a couple of weeks ago I did invest in X52 Pro purely for Elite Dangerous and paid £106.00 with free delivery, sadly that particular offer is no longer on.

What about getting some Fightersticks and Pro Throttles from CH Products? You could have a whole lot of buyers, and surely even some that aren't ED players.

same here but .... comes supplied with a disk with 2006 drivers for XP, no Win 7 drivers so had to go online to get up to date ones... and that was where my problems started, computer now locked up when joystick attached. Will seek help in the Joystick thread - I need to find some functioning drivers and software.

Be careful with this stick... It will not work on USB3. It must be USB 2 connection. The stick is awesome but it cost me a lot of hours getting it to recognize properly. Sometimes it drops out I just unplug and then replug it into the same port (Must be the same USB2 port) and it seems to fix it up. Hope all this saves a few people many hours. That being said... the stick is awesome and perfect for ED

my old 'non pro' x52 worked fine on USB3 port - strange that the newer X52 Pro doesn't work on USB3
& I can't disable USB3 because I have external USB3 hard drive )-: I wander if FD will take back stick and refund?
