As the Asian Pack hasn't launched before, I would like to have an animal pack. The Southeast Asian Pack was one of the worst DLC in many players' opinion. As an Asian, I want to compensate for it and make a Greater Asia Pack wishlist. My wishlist meets the standard of continents and niches.
Sichuan Takin(VU, flagship, Himalayan Mountain)
Sloth Bear(VU, apex predator, Indian Subcontinent)
Père David's Deer(EW, herbivore, Yangtze Marshland)
Arabian Sand Cat(LC, small predator, Arabian Desert)
François’ Langur(CR, primate, Indo-China Highland)
Golden Pheasant(LC, ground dwelling bird, Qinling Woodland)
Japanese Giant Salamander(CR, the MOST NEEDED amphibian, Japanese Archipelago)
King Cobra(VU ,the MOST NEEDED exhibit animal, Southeast Asian Jungle)
Honourable mentioned: Markhor(VU, flagship, Himalayan Mountain)

Greetings from Taiwan.

Which is still surprising in my opinion as it brought 5 more or less highly requested animals from the meta wishlist from that time to the game. But more Asian animals are welcome

Actually I don't agree with these players. I really love the Southeast Asia Pack, and I think sun bear, clouded leopard, binturong, Malayan tapir, and babirusa had been highly on my wishlist then.

I think I would have loved it if it was swapped with North America. At the time, I felt that Asia already had a lot of cool stuff. The animals are great, but I just thought the timing was off. If they had swapped it with North America, put a tiny bit more effort into the Tapirs (not that I want to revisit that convo here), and perhaps chosen a different primate (Proboscis monkeys are cool, but an odd choice given how few monkeys we have), it would have been a community favorite.

1. Clouded Leopard (41 votes)
2. Malayan Tapir (38 votes)
3. Babirusa (37 votes)
4. Binturong (36 votes)
5. Sun Bear (23 votes)
6. Dhole (18 votes)
7. Proboscious Monkey (9 votes)

This was the ranking at release of SEA pack. Sun Bear could have been affected by its previous leak. If I remember right the first 4 places were all around the top 10 or 20 these days back.
