I cannot be the first to have noticed in the external view that the forward dorsal hardpoint covers on the C5 do not close flush with the rest of the hull and to me, it sort of looks ridiculous. The rest of the hull buttons up so clean, none of the other hardpoint covers fail to close flush. Is this a glitch in the ship? In the midnight black skin? Is it actually supposed to look like this? I would personally like to see these covers fitting flush with the hull when closed, that is my suggestion. Thoughts?

I could see it being a style choice.
