What I'd like is if the care packages gave you a few early on, rather than outright unlocking them earlier. That makes them accessible but doesn't diminish the effort needed to unlock them entirely.

Alternative alternative suggestion: integrate CQC into the main game via starport based arcades, accessed via the lifts. I also like the recent suggestion that CQC ranks could provide care packages like PP ranks.

Don't have to imagine. It'll be the same as mine when those completed missions I was using to 'store' mat rewards got wiped without explanation. Fair's, fair. 😂

My advice is to just not worry about them. when you claim a care package you automatically get every mat that you have room for, and the rest will remain unclaimed until you eventually make room. just think of them as a backup mat storage!

The tourist beacons have ships coming and going constantly that can be scanned. Mission running can provide some, particularly if you have good rep. I think PP care packages include them if you're into that.

You should be able to have it all, just in different ways. PP should unlock things in a linear way, have engineers have groups of them at discounts and tech brokers at a higher price but have all of them at once. Then you can choose your path.

I strongly disagree, for returning players and new players struggling to get mats and catch up it's a godsend. People who are full up with mats and struggling to manage their big pile of unopened care packages need a solution but depriving the rest of us of mats isn't the fix you're looking for.
