I am not against what moderation does. If I go into a thread and read a moderator saying not to talk about PvP in that thread, I respect his decision and that's why I opened another thread to talk about PvP. I simply posted the screenshot to reply to the fellow.

I always assumed it was a mod who coined the Hotel California. It is pretty much on spot. It invites strong opinions.

I see no problem with the thread. People are mostly remaining very civil and actually having a conversation (and to my actual surprise the thread hasn't just turned into a "let's bash ED" fest).

As often as it comes up, this topic really needs a nickname. We have Hotel California for the ongoing "open only" vs. "PvE Open" vs. "it's fine as is" conversation. Feels like a missed opportunity.
