flight simulator

Hello commanders, this is Commander Johan Liebert, I came to ask for help with a problem I'm having, I bought a PXN 2119 PRO flight simulator controller, but when I connect it to the PC the game doesn't open, then when I remove it from the PC the game opens normally, any idea what it could...

At a guess, I would imagine that there are a fair number of folks from Elite that also do Flight Sims... :) I'm looking for a Flight Sim which would be a) Good for a beginner (i.e someone who has not used a recent flight sim, but has a handle on flight principals if not specifics) b)...
