resources disappearing

(As a new player, I am experiencing a few annoyances) THIS is one of them out of a hand full..... When I am on a SRV on a planet and find resources like Iron, Carbon etc etc etc.It tends to disappear after I first shoot the big rock and all the resources come flying out. I look at the Contacts...
