scenery count

I've been putting the hours in creating different buildings. One of the frustrating things is searching through tons of pieces to find what you need. Many are the same shape but just have a different texture finish, walls, roof items etc. Yes, you can sort them by theme but still there's are...

I hope a player will be able to answer this but I am not sure if a Mod might be able to try and find an answer from the hoses mouth. With completed pools. Does this 1 pool count as 1 piece. Or are all of these individual squares adding to the count?
