0G Environments in Odyssey ?

We are starting to have quite an idea of what Odyssey will be and what it will feature, with the 3rd dev diary focusing on combat today we have quite some combat footage in settlements.

However even if I understood that it is not currently planned, what are your thoughts on 0G settlements ? Like scavenger missions in abandoned little space settlements where you have to go in 0G or just 0G first person combat. I have seen very few people talk about this aside from 0G in stations which was said to have magnetic boots I think, so no 0G on this part

No planets with true zero gravity, but I like the premise.

(Although I await a smartypants science person to correct me!)

While I would love to see 0G gameplay I don't think it'll be Odessey content from the looks of it.

But I would love EVA combat, exploring asteroids fissures with a cutting tool to get gems in zero G, or just going out to take samples from space based anomalies.

If I was FDev I would have a peek at Prey as far as zero G is concerned, because it was brilliantly done.

I very much doubt there will be any EVA activities without ship interiors.

Maybe one day...

Increasingly it looks like it'll be handwavium all the way down (or up as the case may be) - everyone's going to run around and move the same way no matter where they are, with gravity variation affecting jetpack efficiency only. I'm guessing if you carry a big "heavy" rocket launcher it will slow your movement rate down no matter what gravity situation you're in, either. In zero G (on station settlements) it's "because magnets." The one thing I'm not sure about is whether or not you'll be able to use your jetpack (or even jump for that matter) in any environment which has zero G (my guess is no - probably jetpacks/weapons/pretty much everything except walking around will be disabled in station type environments).
