1.0.3 Animal Management Tab filter by Species not working

Ahh, thanks for this. Was looking here to see if anyone else having the same issue since the patch.
It is VERY annoying, makes it a lot harder to manage a large zoo imo. Good to know it's not just me having the problem so I can hope for a fix soon.

Ah yes! I'm facing this too! I was so happy to know they "save the filter" now but only to fail on the SPECIES not even showing at all!

I have so many animals in my zoo, especially my breeder zoos, that it renders it so frustrating to play that it's basically unplayable for me in the meantime except building. I filter by species constantly so I can filter each species by age or appeal, so I can sort through new adults to keep, release, or sell.
I hope this isn't an issue we have to wait for another major patch to fix.

Same issue here. 100% makes this game unplayable once you have more than like 3-4 breeds of animal. I hope this gets fixed quickly.
