1.1.02 finally AWESOME with rift and latest nvidia drivers.

Finally, I am back to getting the same level of graphic quality and performance out of the DK2 since a while back in beta.

With a single GTX970, latest nvidia drivers 347.52, everything is maxed out and I get no lag in station at all.
I get sporadic 1s freezes when I approach planets too close when I try to align with station entrance in SuperDrive, but nothing major since it gets back quickly to 70fps... (BTW, only FXAA gives me this and it looks good)

Until now, I had to get 2 notches down in graphic quality to get the same fps. I am using a type 7 so the fov is pretty wide too...

I wish I could easily change my GUI to green without changing anything but maybe that's coming.

Thanks FD!

What settings do you have? I have a single 970 as well.

I have to set shadows and reflections to low, and turn off blur, bloom, ambient oclusion and AA. everything else on high

Re changing the hud colours, they added a new xml file for graphics override, which doesn't get overwritten when the game is patched. Can't remember the exact details but if you search the forum you should find it.

I reset all settings when I updated the drivers (check clean install option). All setting set to max in ED except medium shadows. FXAA seems to be the key. I never got anything like this and even when downsampling, I had to put the graphics quality slider 2 notches down, not anymore. (that quality slider is the only thing that impacted the overall performance anyway)

I run Windows 7 Ultimate with a I7-4771 CPU @3.50Ghz and I have a 128Gb SSD drive for OS/apps (which may get you a performance boost caching also).

Good luck/

Are you doing any oversampling at all ? Or just running at 1080 ? I have mine set to a slight level of oversampling (1.1 or 1.2x I think, can't remember the exact res).

The only thing I won't compromise on is shadow quality - I have it set to Ultra, and dammit if there's a little bit of judder, but it looks so much better that way.

for green i use this setup which works great:

<MatrixRed> 0.18, 0, -1 </MatrixRed>
<MatrixGreen> -1, 1, -1 </MatrixGreen>
<MatrixBlue> 0.15, 0.32, 1 </MatrixBlue>

Does it change the color of enemy (red), neutral (white) or friendly (green) dots on the radar?

Thanks

Just running at 1080, not downsampling anymore.

Done the same - no shudder or lag - thanks for posting your findings +1

Do you set that in the Nvidia control panel? or In-game?
