do you still get more charges with B grade over A gade in 1.1?

Trial and error...seems to be the only way to get any kind of information...
Don't know if this is relevant but...
I had an issue in my Cobra where my A grade power plant suddenly can't run my ship any more, and had to downgrade my C.S.B.s.
My A grade banks had 7 charges before 1.1, and only 5 after, and the B grade I have now only have 2.
I have B grade on my Asp and it has 5 charges (I think - haven't used them yet!)
