1.2 Performance Hit

I'm running on a Core 2 Duo Q9550 Extreme @2.93Ghz and a Geforce GTX 660, was getting great performance pre-patch and only had issues when it was network related, like LHS 3447 and the like. Since the patch I've taken a significant performance hit in every aspect of the game it seems and changing the graphics settings seems to make very little difference in my case. Looking at HWMonitor I'm only hitting 80% GPU/CPU in maximum activity areas like combat zones, anyone else notice this? The patch sounded like there were some performance gains/tweaks but has been the total opposite for me.

Interesting.. as i mentioned in different thread.. i have sigificant perfomance boost since patch.. having stable 60fps everywhere..
and im on antic Q6600 with GTX460..

It seemed like NPC activity was a LOT more prominent in the system I was in so maybe that additional layer being visible now is causing it?

Supercruise has taken a major hit in populated systems. I'm running a 5ghz AMD FX-9350 and a 7970 overclocked. On ultra, with 4x supersample I get stable 60fps (vsynced) as soon as i'm in supercruise each contact knocks my fps down by about 2. Which means in a populated system I am getting about 8fps... It's horrible

Alright at least I'm not a crazy person I suppose as Super Cruise is the worst of it, even in solo mode it's pretty low in the high population area.

Also playing on an old Core2Duo e6850 with a GTX560ti, and I definitely got a performance boost with the 1.2 update. Game was perfectly playable before, and I'm not sure I'd call the increase huge, but the extra frames are definitely noticeable.

Not sure if anyone else had this happen tonight but it's never happened before. I nNotice some weird static coming through my headset (A40's) after a few hours of playing with my wings squad. Then server FPS took a dump so I guess both were related? Otherwise loving this update and it's exactly what this game needed in terms of squading up with friends!

4770, GTX 780, 16 GB

I had it running solid at around 3.4Ghz before with no noticeable increase to performance, but that was a while ago now so maybe I'll give that a look. I'm NOT having any audio tearing that I was before though so they fixed that for me at least, dunno about the above CMDR.
