In the spreadsheet there are lists of some of the ELWs, Water and Ammonia I found if these are any use to anyone.

I've handed in 1.45 billion cr at LYR (before bonus) and have about 33 mill left to hand in for engineers, rep & permits.

I returned on Tuesday night from a near 11 month journey around the Galaxy, through it's heart and all over the place!


I set off on 25th January 3302 from Shinrarta Dezhra in a 34.5 ly, stripped down ASP.

After getting myself settled, I set off for the Heart Nebula and I travelled around the Galaxy clockwise, returning to the Soul Nebula about 400k ly and 26k systems later.

My circumnavigation took 61 game days (elapsed time a bit longer, but I'll come to that later) averaging 6,535 ly and 429 systems per day. I took the scenic route, with quite a lot of the journey done using economic routes.

I did not scan every main star of each system, but honked and scanned valuable bodies.

Engineers had just launched before I had completed my round trip and I almost came home. Almost!

But I had always had in the back of my mind since setting off to do all the Nebulae in the galaxy ... so I set off to do them!

I headed up towards Sag A* and starting mapping and picking a route to work on.

Thankyou to CMDR DRKAII and CMDR KOALA2 for their forum posts which gave me a head start on working out what to do next.

I think I got all the Nebulae and Dark Regions there are, and just over 1,000 Planetary Nebulae as well.

I got back on Tuesday 6th December 3303 with 81% hull. I came back to Trongbanza where my Cutter was garaged. I swapped to the Cutter and set off to Lambava for LYR Rep.

I am currently handing in data and will save 50 mill or so for Engineer Rep and Permits.

I have a spreadsheet log of the entire journey and also a spreadsheet of nebulae data. I have a shedload of screenshots to go through as well.

I will add more to this post as I get the images sorted out and loaded to Imgur and the docs onto Google Docs.

I need a rest.

I'll give you distance, but no marks for stamina. I'd been out for 4 months before you set off and I've scanned something in every system, then something else if that was already tagged. I should be home before Christmas. 3303.

Seriously though, that is some trip and congratulations on your safe return.

Let us know how much cash that trip generates, I'm sure it will be on the record breaker list.

I'm considering my own circumnavigation of the galaxy, just want to get my Asp above 51LY, dripping wet, with an SRV...

Not to take away from this achievement, just wanted to note that it was more of a spring rather than marathon :D
