I am at 1.6Kylies from Sol.. pretty much all done on short jumps...

I have discovered a few ELW and have first discovered tag on the first one I come across within about 1K LY of my home system..
Discovered a pair of what appear to be tidal locked water worlds a few nights ago :) but perhaps they are just rotating each other... :D

I haven't been playing for a few days. I'm going to wait till PP is sorted out.

The last thing I want to do is find myself back in a station after a game crash! Btw, Ranger0 is up for a meet too, he's only about 1000 LY from me.

Probably not me - I have not been back to Sol to cash anything in...

But yeah. I flew 280K Ls tonight to scan an ammonia world. It's Even better when it turns out to be what I hoped it was....

I *really* hate those high metal content planets that look like ammonia or water worlds.

Interesting idea. As someone said above, you get a bit nervous heading out so far, but then once you "break the tether" you can just keep on going. At least the repair unit now gives you a bit of a safety net.

I'd also be interested in seeing what's the furthest you can go, both in terms of distance from Sol, and from the Galactic centre. When I was out past the Heart and Soul nebulae, I scanned the galactic map to see how much further to go to the fringe, and could still find some (VERY sparse) systems out ~15KLy past there again.

I just passed 20kly yesterday. Does it count that I haven't returned to the (increasingly less) civilised world yet?
With data returned, my farthest out was 3800ly.

although I'm alone and haven't seen anyone for Kylies (LOL), it feels as though I have found some kindred spirits...
thanks for the words of wisdom, although I do have to keep and eye on the screen, as I almost ran into a star after I thought I had set throttle to zero ...but I was surfing and it hadn't kicked in properly....luckily no damage done :).

maybe I will meet one of you while I am travelling....maybe

I have 0.7 Kaylees to go (28 jumps) and I am home. Thinking about repairing, upgrading, selling data (2700 systems) and heading straight back out. Might try to gain an extra 2-3ly in jump distance, I dont think I need that turret gun. Was happy with my 30.2ly but just think how much further/quicker I could go with 32ly!!

Got a spreadsheet with all my visited systems in from EDDiscovery. May try and complete data credits for most of them.

Count me in the club. Sure, I've crossed that line many times but it's still a great thing each time I do it :D
