Don't worry. Real rexes were alone from hatching onwards, and in all of their life stages they were great hunters. It'll do fine on its own.

Could be a different pair... various sources make the claim there were many Tyrannosauruses on the island.

Also, this takes place some time after the events of the Lost World apparently... the baby is probably older and more independent.

That doesn't sound like any source on Tyrannosaurus parenting that I've heard... most say Tyrannosaurus were probably good parents, like modern birds or crocodilians.

GET DOWN!!! DINO NERD FACT WAR!!!! WERE ALL GONNA DIE!!!!

It's a shame that the baby rex gets just ignored by Frontier.
Even the point that they say the campaign takes place after the events of fallen kingdom, then why should be all dinos Female?
That makes no sence.

Maybe in the far future we can have males and juveniles added, at least...i hope for that

In case you've forgotten. The baby rex doesn't exist in JWE2's San Diego Chaos Mode.

For the baby rex to exist, all personnel on Sorna should be evacuated, the island facilities demolished by Hurricane Clarissa, as mentioned by John Hammond in TLW (Film).
But since this is Chaos Mode, the aforementioned events never happened.

Even if we disregard the above statement, there were originally 7 T-Rex's on Sorna.

Between the amount of work (effectively creating double the roster), the amount of red tape (Frontier needs to get Universal's approval on everything), and the amount of time dinosaurs would remain juveniles (in CC, Bumpy became huge in 6 months, implying adulthood in about 8 months, which is maybe a half hour in game, and if the accelerated growth is genetic, then that would be normal for all dinosaurs), adding juveniles wouldn't have been worth it anyways...

This makes no sense, as breeding, juveniles and males are canonical in the JP/JW franchise. Breeding was implemented in PZ which has more than 100 animals, just use logic. So technically this addition is totally possible. Everything in game development is hard and takes time so say it's "amount of work" doesn't make any sense to justify the absense of breeding. The only thing that must stop Frontier from adding males and juveniles must be Universal Studios, but we have no concrete evidence that there was an direct blocking from Universal. Males and juveniles appeared in the entire franchise and not just in the movies, in the books as well. So also say that "all dinosaurs are female" also doesn't make any sense

And PZ is a PC only title, for good reason.

by the way .. did anyone else notice that there is a shot in the intro to chaos mode for TLW where Sarah Harding photographs the Stegosaurus baby? Also somehow a strange decision to choose such a picture when there are no babies in the game.
