Modes 1 mission board. 1 mode. Set protected areas for new to mid game players.

Anyone interpreting my first question to Sylveria as a negative is being touchy, get it? Especially when you throw in the fact that you're either ignoring or missing entirely my attempts at putting the situation behind us with some tongue in cheek humor:)

Yea I get it and I'm sorry; I forgot how often when people get called out suddenly their posts was misunderstood and meant as humor. And she never got bent out of shape, she explained in detail, especially since some that have posted on this thread like to try and needle her by calling her a stalker and other crap. Or claim that since we don't PVP anymore that we have no knowledge.

Ah, the 'ol passive aggressive Modes sub-forum two step. Nice! I haven't been in this area of the forum in a long time, and I almost forgot about that lovely feature.

... and as long as I've seen you on the forum you've been extremely anti-PvP, ...

Just to clarify on this single point, there is a difference between "anti-PvP" and pro choice.

I keep getting accused of being "anti-PvP", despite the fact I play PvP games (World of Tanks, Fortnite, PvP in STO to name a few).
Some ED PvPers are so entrenched in forcing PvP on people who don't want it, they fail to see the difference.

Sylveria, Mouse and myself have always been pro choice.
Because ED was sold as a pro choice game when it came to PvP.
It's why we bought it in the first place.

Feel free to fresh yourself with the WoI and read the KS, DDA, and current sales information stating it's the players choice.

I am extremely anti-PvP, so volunteer to be on the receiving end of the anti-PvP sentiment accusations.

Not anti-PvPer though, some of my best friends in game are PvPers. In fact, both of them are!

So do I get this right, this is the "solo only" thread?
.
If it is not, I openly dare to say that the OP is something which the board would censor me, if I would use the word, but it includes a significant lack of comprehension.
.
There are some very good reasons to have different modes. Known to people who actually play the game, but apparently unknown to many posters on this forum, also technical issues. My primary reason to switch to solo is that when I play at the wrong time, with some people apparently playing on potatoes and the game still deciding that they now are the host, I experience significant rubberbanding.
.
But alas... respectfully telling this to the the "all open now" people never helps. Their comprehensive abilities are just not up to this...

The crappy networking is the primary reason I play mostly solo. I tried, yet again, to play in mobius while at the CG and it literally was unplayable for me. Not just rubberbanding, but ships jumping all over the place. I no longer have my gigabit connection, but my current internet speed is over 300 Mb/s and you'd think would be plenty.

So back to solo...

1 mission board, 1 mode would work fine, as long as there was an "interact toggle" on the Functions panel.

Turn toggle on, and you can receive fuel transfer limpets, be shot at, rammed etc.
Turn toggle off, and you are a ghost that can be assigned pads other humans are on, cannot be interacted with in any way, etc.

So yeah, for once I'm in agreement with Skidboy, with this slight adjustment.
