PvP 1 of 1000 issues: C3F Beam Laser vs META FDL

Plain boring and uninteresting 1v1 in full length. I don't want to use a beam laser, I really don't but apparnetly there is no other way to counter the biweave regen with a C3 mount.

Do not enjoy this utterly stupid 1v1. It's for demonstration purposes only. Furthermore I save myself the wall o' text to explain the issues here, it should be more than obvious.

PS: Also who is responsible for this extremely annoying camera shake when being hit by invisible PAs or rail shots? Now I have to play with reduced camera shake like I am handicapped or whatnot. Makes it even easier to hit with hitscans. Is there any way to turn of PA/rail shake without turning off engine and FSD shake?

What solution do you propose to this problem? I see them using scbs more than anything else to restore shields?

Its not like massive regular shields are much better in terms of time to kill.

Im sure theres at least a 5s cooldown on shields before they start regen after being hit. Wouldnt a multi do just as good?

2s for Bi-weaves. But yes, a multi would do good as well but then you can't hit SLFs and modules ... atleast not as good.

The solution not only to this issue but to many issues is to drastically reduce TTK. Just been fighting a prismatic shield FDL with PAs and lost due to utterly stupid shield strengths. Remove resistance augemented boosters and only offer heavy duty which reduce total resistances across the board or specialized resistance boosters. Subtract 0.5 the amount of the other types.
Same for HRPs.
Remove the effect for explosive external module damage, triple the damage for missiles and torps and on top of that double dumbfire damage again.

But yeah, there are many ways to do it. Drastically reducing TTK would solve ALOT of issues.

Agree with everything except buffing missiles.
Those are click to win and should be nurfed to oblivion.
 
There is no issue with bi-weave. You just have to hit time to time to stop the regen which is around 5sec delay.
Bi-weave FDL is meta only in good pilot hands.

Thing is.. are we ever going to get a shields nerf?

We had two attempts that ipersonaly felt were quite resonable but the comunity, apparently did not.

Now with thargoids. And in the future mining and planets being the focus i think we missed/squandered the opportunity we had for pvp balance and combat balance in general.

I havent heard any thing even sniffed at buy the devs.. or even the comunity for quite some time.

I tend to just not bother fighting an fdl or big 3 now as they are just a waste of time.

I fly around in my viper mk 111 and ignore the hole issue.

Its a bit of a shame as if there is trouble makers or enemies i encounter flying those ships they go un challeneged.
