1 Rank from Rear Admiral and...

Holy crap, does ranking slow way the hell down the higher you get in the Fed ranks. Hopefully I'll hit Rear Admiral tomorrow night, then I'll be able to get my Corvette.

Once I unlocked Excebur (sp) from fed ranking, I went there. There seemed to be more charity missions there than 17 Draconis.

Go to Tun guys, and bring something with a few hundred in cargo space. I went from Ensign 0% to Rear Admiral in like a day and a half.

I've been at Tun myself for a while now. Went from Chief Petty Officer to Lt. Commander in a few days time. Although I've noticed recently the charity missions have started to drop in frequency, sometimes dramatically so. I might give Exebur a shot.

I've been in Tun for quite some time, on and off, and I've got to say, I can't believe how fast you ranked up. I mean, I've got pretty much everything that I need to turn in for any one of the donation missions, but it took me four hours last night to get to Post Captain. I can't imagine what you were doing to rank up so quick.

It does that the closer you get to rear admiral. they will drop to as low as 2 donation missions per open/solo cycle. Tun is also getting patched come 2.1 so heads up.

Yep used tun to get me from cadet 66% to rear admiral in 3 afternoons (4 hours each). Could do more but got bored and had a few beers whilst doing it! Don't drink and fly!

Just switching between solo and open in an Annie full of grain and meds and stuff. I had a big thread on it, lol. The only reason it took the two days, was because I had life stuff to do, and I hade to wait for the mission board to recycle.

I wonder if it also refreshes the bb while switching from open/solo to private groups etc?
If it then refreshes again switching from one private group to another private group...

I just did a little Tun and 17 Draconis today... (ranking up my second account) Right now 17 Draconis is better if you're at the later ranks because you get a higher spawn per re-log, although it is a little way out of the bubble.

What is at Tun that you can rank up so quickly? What kind of missions are there? Charity? You donate millions or what?

yeah, charity, donate millions, destroy Tun's economy, but you do get ranks.. lol..

Went there till i could buy me the Federal ships. (FAS, and Gunship). Now im just doing BB missions all over the place.. dont want the Corvette, and the Cutter will be bought if i eventually have the rank for it. But, like i said, i am in no hurry.

though i do do a lot of missions for the Empire now because i want the Clipper. I was aiming for Horizons, but i think i need another week. Not hunting charity missions, im doing assassination missions. But they are rare.. lol
