1 year later, same bugs still in the game...

After taking over one year break, still find the same bugs in the game, that were there when I stopped playing... No problem for them to add new content, but plz, fix the damn game before adding new content.

Galaxy map, when to type the name what you are searching for, the field just deselect, so you have to minimize the game repeat, repeat and try over and over for it to fix itself.

And that damn Super Cruise, still buggy and been since they released it, ship just over the sudden, engines maxes out for no reason.

If this was in the real world, when im driving to work, and suddenly, the car just accelerate as fast as possible for no reason that would be fatal, car drives itself out in the middle of a trafficated road.

Such a disappointment, im not alone with this, all my friends, agrees and stopped playing the game. And the weapons, still badly balanced and boring as . Almost no missiles to fire, a few missiles then empty, at least gives us the option to store more missiles, A LOT more missiles.

And getting the Horizon expansion, doesnt really feel like an expansion, feels like I was ripped off, seems you only can land on some dead rocks... sure a few bases here and there. I wanted to land on the moon next to earth, didn't work... ok lets land on titan instead, nope....

Tired of getting ripped off. I will check back in another year... cuz I still have hopes, this game can still be a great game, they just need to fix it but it feels like they dont care

1. Never seen or heard of that one? Have any other applications running that could be registering your keystrokes and taking window focus away from ED?

2. What do you mean here? Are you talking about when SC overspeeds when you pass near a gravity well?

4. Planets in our solar system have to be accurately modeled. This is no small task. The moon and others are supposed to come in time, in the mean time there are plenty of moons to land on that provide far superior views that Moon x Earth. Also, the season isn't done...there are 4 expansions coming.

5. Not sure how it is a ripoff. Entertainment media is subjective in its value and varies from person to person. Just like when I see a movie I end up hating, I don't think that is a ripoff....I just didn't like it. Whereas another person might make the same movie their favorite of all time.

Both of those point to issues with your hardware setup.. Not something I have ever experienced.

I think that the SC thing is him not getting what the speed indicator means, how SC works and what he should be doing. Someone kind enough to point him to some newbie tutorial vid? Personally I am too tired of passive-agressive whiners projecting their ignorance on everything around them but maybe someone else has more patience.

I can understand the frustration at this point. I check back periodically, looking for info on 2.1. Yep; that's right. On 2.1. The version supposedly fixing issues we have had since 2.0. Which they released in November or December of 2015.

And now here we are. Its nearly April of 2016, and the same bugs remain. I understand you want 2.1 to bring new content, but you need to FIX a BROKEN game a little faster than this.

This is the reason I wont buy Season 3 up front. Going to wait and check on it periodically. Make sure its completely finished before I spend my money on it. I thought with Season 2 I was getting planets, AND interesting, engaging things to do and see ON those planets. But no.

I thought with Season 2 I was getting planets, AND interesting, engaging things to do and see ON those planets. But no.

Can't get my head around it, I have access to trillions of unique worlds, spend a lot of time Canyon and low level flying in the ieagle, also trucking between surface ports, see amazing sights on a daily basis.

This last week alone I've done nothing but explore the Moons in the Sol system.. Just one system, am constantly blown away by the variations in Terrain on Ariel, Iapetus,Tethys,Oberon... I appreciate that VR is a big factor in my enjoyment of exploring planet's, however I can't wrap my head around people saying there is nothing interesting to do :/

Problems? Bugs?.. never seen any of them you mention and I've had the game over a year now, although I did have a few months off.

Did complain about one thing, and that was being scanned while attached to an outpost and all the missions failing.. but hey! after thinking about it it does make the game a little more challenging.

1. This is a problem with your computer, not the game, likely either malware or could be simply your machine is not powerful enough
2. This is a feature, not a bug, and it's not all of the sudden for no reason. It happens when you fly near another gravitational body at a high rate of speed. It's science, or the meta-science of the game, but it's not a bug.
3. So this is really about your missile.
4. A whole galaxy to explore and you're mad that you can't land on the moon? That's soooo 1969 man...

Dont forget the "getting scanned while docked" bug. This bug is extremely annoying for us smugglers. YOu dock with the station, 10 seconds later bam fail all the missions because some NPC scanned you while you were docked. Devs know about it, do they care? Naaah.

Why would landing at an platform station prevent you from being scanned? You are still in open space.

They haven't 'fixed' the mode switching mission stack either, so maybe us smugglers should just call this a draw.

That is the problem with people who complain all the time. Some concerns are legit, many are not. In this case there actually is a scan/docking bug: when a scan is started when you are docking yet aborted before its completed (when you enter the slit) sometimes the scan is 'paused' rather than cancelled. So when you leave ten minutes later it continues where it was, potentially leading to instant-scanning.

Ofcourse, what triple88a describes is neither that nor a bug in general, but just user-error. You'll find that there is a odd correlation between the how many bugs one encounters and how little one understands the game itself...

Oh but wait the 2.1 calvary is coming.. Of course if any bugs are in that load, 3.1 will maybe cure those. Meanwhile if you find anything, annnything that seems fun with player oriented power, it shall be removed and "fixed" in quicktime.
