Powerplay 10 of each resource or 10 of one

CMDRs i recently decided to try my hand at PP and pledged to LYR and have been fortifying systems but I only just noticed you can get 10 of each item from the 100K fast track. Given that it looks like the vote will mean there will be no preparation allowed should I be getting all three resources or just the fortifying ones? Are commodities not usable persistent week to week? Am I wasting resources just by getting the fortifying ones only?

I am seriusly confused at this point.

EDIT: Nevermind you can't get 10 of each it depends on which confirm button you hit.

Anyway to get rid of resources you can't use? thanks to my mistake above I now have 50 Sirius Corp Contracts...
