100% complete. Tips for Jurassic challenge

I have finally been able to 100% the game. Took longer than I thought it would mostly due to the first Jurassic Challenge level. I'll be giving some tips that I used to get it done.

First off, Canada Jurassic appeal is incorrect. I spent 50 hours on the level trying to figure out how to bump my 4.8 to the 5. Turns out the appeal total is about half of what you need. I know the stars are all based off income, not solely on appeal but it was driving me nuts trying to figure out how to bump up my income by another 100k or so. To finally get the needed amount, I looked up some tips and tricks and turns out you don't need to have any dinos in your park for at least 2 of the Jurassic challenges. Canada wasn't one of them, and I'll go over which ones in a bit. The trick is to rely solely on Innovation Centers and guest comforts. Keep those up and you'll have a permanent income. It'll take some time, but you can research everything as needed, with some selective breeding to fulfill certain tech requirements. Once done, I was able to save up a bit of cash and renovate the park to pump out dinos. As long as you keep the guest comfort items at or near 100, pump out the minimum species needed to remove the penalty, and have some high appeal dinos ready to be released at once, you should be good to go. For Canada and UK, I released all my dinos at once, making sure each dino was visible to guests. This sky rocketed my appeal and I got my 5 stars.

Onto Germany and SWUS. I was able to finish those maps on Jurassic difficulty without the use of any dinos. Again, your rating is dependent on income not really appeal. What you need to do first for any map with wild dinos is tranq and sell them. Regardless of how many Innovation Centers you use, if you have any dinos in the park guest count will plummet if the dinos are not conscience and visible. You should be able to get enough cash to start working on the needed tech to build large amenities, bathrooms, shelters, Innovation Centers, power plants, monorail, and large hotels. To establish a foot hold, 1 or 2 Innovation Centers with the 3 amenities, bathroom and shelter nearby them, close to the entrance will get you that needed permanent income. Then it just becomes a puzzle of figuring out how many IC's you need and to keep everything else at 100. For Germany, I have a total of 47 entertainment attractions. For SWUS, I have 37. You don't need to have only IC's, guest attractions will work but you will only get the 100 appeal split amongst each kind. So having 2 of the same one will just waste space. I suggest figuring out which type of guest is going to the park, usually its white and green using this tactic, and just use things that cater to them, if you have the space.

The amenities are also key for this part and really, any part of the game. Just make sure each add on is adding money when added. It's tedious after a bit since it's usually just the skeleton display and one other thing for green and white guests.

One last thing, this tactic is really self-sufficient. So long as everything is at 100 and making money, the storms won't end you. I feel that's the real struggle of the game, managing the dinos and repairs during and after a storm, and often it just takes one storm to start the decline to failure.

For UK and NWUS, you will likely need to get the 5 stars the old fashion way. Since getting the achievement is not dependent on time, I suggest simply employing the tactic above till you've researched everything and have however much money you think you'll need to get the ball rolling. I didn't have to renovate all of my park to get the 5. I made enclosures with 100% visibility, save for storm effects, then had a number of dinos ready to be released into those enclosures that would beat out the minimum species penalty. Made sure all my amenities were optimized, saved, then started the mass release.

Hopefully that helps those of you that don't really care for the par time and just want the achievements. Personally, I suggest doing it this way regardless to get the achievements cause you never know if there'll be an update that changes the mechanics of the game, so this might not work. And I'm sure most yall are like me, in that you'd rather not waste a day or two struggling to get the 5 only to get a failure. If you really want to do it the old-fashioned way, you can always do it after getting the achievement anyway.

Last little bit to help get 100% database entries. Be sure to do the research in the campaign to get the fences and other buildings. The third mission is when you can start researching. For some reason I was missing the medium and large electric fences until I went back and researched them in campaign, not challenge mode.
To get certain diseases like foot and mouth, and avian influenza, from what I've gathered is that your dinos need to be in a confined space. Avian influenza specifically is for marine species. Otherwise, playing the three modes thoroughly should get you all the entries. Challenge mode NW/SW US will get you access to the hybrids.

Personally, Chaos theory wasn't difficult. San Diego, I did fail once and I think I failed JP3 once. They're do-able with some planning and small expansion. Keeping your scientist count low helps save money, hire and fire as needed. I did get a little stuck on FK simply cause I was unsure if I was supposed to demolish everything, looked it up and yeah, demolish everything at the end.

Don't think there's much else that I got hung up on so hopefully this helps.
