And I'm not really digging it.

I think I've already made up my mind ... but can anyone come up with a compelling reason for me not to get a refund?

So far it's been wander around, shoot stuff, manipulate my inventory and gain new things by default.

Is there any more to this game that will make it worth persevering with?

It doesn't give me much hope for spacelegs either.

Personally, no there is no compelling reason not to get a refund. I wish I did myself

As to space legs in ED, I very much doubt it will be anything like NMS. It still could be rubbish though, but it equally could be great.

100 hours and your contemplating getting your money back already. I'd concur that you already knew you didn't like it, but because of the lock down and nothing too loose, bought it with the intention that you can get a refund. Considering the learning curve, one would only be a wee bit into it when the time limit is up on the possibility of a refund is over.

Don't know what you are use to, but "Sand Box" games Do not hold your hand, and there is NO END GAME. Though they may or may not in some cases offer up specific content, most player's come up with their own.

If you can't afford the possible loss of what ever you paid and it would cause you issues, get you refund today. If not, there are a gazillion of player's of all sorts and sizes and dispositions to assist you as soon as your able to leave the confines of the noob zone via this and other forums. There are a gazillion of things to do, and yet there isn't any. I've had times which lasted a week or two in which I'd boot up, log on and then go completely blank as to what I wanted to do. Then there's the rest of the time when I fall asleep at the helm, because I just couldn't stop playing.

I would ask; What game have you EVER played that didn't include wandering around shooting stuff, looking for stuff, picking up stuff etc etc etc.

Hang in there, or not, either way it's no skin our noses. But should you tuff it out, WE are all here for ya. Just ask!

Yeah, sometimes it is just difficult to realize why a certain game just doesn't float the boat. I was contemplating a lot to pick it up on discount, but I realized all things that make it interesting is already done by Elite in a more compelling way.

OP wrote minutes...

Do you like games where you accumulate stuff and then use that stuff to accumulate more stuff? Because that's what this is. No Man's Sky is a Minecraft Modpack with spaceships added on top. Does that sound awesome to you, or stupid? If it sounds stupid to you, then yeah bail while you still can.

Hi folks,

Can we use the existing NMS thread?

Thanks.
